Guillén with an interesting sprint, just picking Bouhanni's wheel and never leaving it. If Bouhanni would have won, it would have been a great second place Pfft

Congratulations to maxim indeed, another step towards the CT title I suppose Smile

Nice to be competitive in a sprint

Gonna be a sad race if this continues...

Guess this has become the standard for sprint stages now Pfft

On another, more annoyed note. PCM's handling of prologues are ghastly. At least the favourite, Keough won but having the 3rd favourite finish 30th is a bit of a farce.

The report was great, Marquez' performance not so much. Congratulations to Carlsberg, great victory!

Phew, what a relief that Saggiorato apparently managed his energy really well and had an incredible finish! He was never mentioned, and then finishes 6th - great job!
Manfredi was probably helping him and doesn't get a good result on his own, as most of the times. But with him and Pernsteiner inside the Top 30 - and 3rd in the team standings - that really was a good day for us.

Now, time for Scully to build up on his great prologue performance - that green jersey definitely still is within reach!

Thanks for the report, and for once congrats to someone else than Carrefour Wink Well done, Warbasse, that definitely keeps Carlsberg's promotion push up!

I feel the same about Ndayisenga in 8th Grin On par with Pinot, in the Top 10, can't be mad at that. Thanks for the report!

Beautifully done by Warbasse, that was too close for comfort

Wow, that was absolutely a phenomenal performance by the team, start to finish. I was a bit surprised to see us controlling the front so hard, but I'm so glad we did. Since Warbasse's struggle is with acceleration, keeping the pace high and everyone well positioned was absolutely crucial to success.

Eg has at times punched below his weight this season, but that was a ferocious performance in a important stage. Absolutely flogging himself to keep Larry at the front and grind major favorites off of his wheel. And in the chaos, he holds on for 12th on the stage, 11th in GC, and 2nd in U25 so far. It feels so good to see a talent I signed and developed from lvl. 1 really come out to play here.

And Warbasse. How much more can I say about this guy? The team played to his strengths, and he did his part to perfection. Clearly he was on a great day form wise, but he used everything he had and some more in order to pull off the win and gain significant time on his opponents. I can't expect to win these types of stages with guys like Pinot and Ranaweera in the race. I'm incredibly grateful for some luck.

We will see how the next few stages unfold now that we have the jersey. Since we controlled the race well today, we should theoretically be able to do it one more time on stage 4 and potentially get a GC win. But obviously that's a big if, since Warbasse is still statistically inferior and could lose big time. We gotta just do the best we can and leave here with the most points possible.

I am so glad I got this man, as high as the price was so late in that transfer season. He has carried our team on his back this entire season, and he's the only reason we're still in the promotion fight. Chapeau!

Thanks for a great report!

Eg was on sensational form today, I genuinely thought he was going to prevent Ranaweera from taking white, nevermind how strong Warbasse was to ride away from all the favourites afterwards.

Congrats on the win BBL, we will definitely try and make it hard for you to keep hold of that GC lead though, I really want to finally win a home race.

Much better from the team. Inkelaar with a good setup and Keinath following through with a good 2nd place. Henttala with a rare good day as well, as he hasn't done much yet this season.

Congrats to bbl and thanks for the report Smile

That was great team work here. The whole team at the bottom and then Eg doing a Van Aert/Henao/Nieve kind of effort to get rid of basically all other riders but a very few.

Must have felt great for bbl to see not only Eg doing this but also dropping Garby this way. Pfft

Warbasse luckily strong enough then to finish it, while it`s nice to see Keinath having a great performance as well. Can`t ask for much more than 2nd on such stage with the stronger riders all behind.

So you're saying that Warbasse just won a mountain top finish, and then AKA wins a sprint the next day? Alright, I'm ready to wake up. Pfft

Breakaway wins always hurt the most when you take the sprint, but then again, the break still being in front has a big effect on how the sprint plays out anyway. I'm just happy that the game is still having AKA sprint even with Larry in yellow. I think the problem might actually just be Bertilsson then in terms of his AI.

AKA will make up a few of the missing stage points by holding the points jersey again at least. That should be a tough fight till the end. Not sure of our chances with still two potential sprints left, but happy to be in the hunt.

3 jerseys + 2nd in U25 and Team is obviously outstanding for us. But I'll be much happier still if that situation is still the case this time tomorrow. Grin

Thanks for the report, always cool to see someone get Zabel'd!

First career points for youngster Ulloa! Grin

Fourth out of five is not amazing, but it's definitely better than Guillén would have given us Pfft It is indeed a classic pcm prank to let AKA win a sprint now, but I'm sure Warbasse winning yesterday and having the GC lead is enough to keep bbl happy for now Wink Also, I don't know if Aidan will think it is as cool to see someone get Zabel'd as you do Pfft

I notice I have used a lot of emoji's in this message, so I'll keep it a bit more sober in my last sentence: congratulations to Jakstar and muchas gracias for the report to redordead.

Perhaps "funny" or "exciting" would have been the better word to use. Pfft

Really disappointed to see the breakaway take this one, as Scully apparently had the legs for a stage podium. Don't quite understand how these guys made it through, though; I mean, Mundle alone should be almost enough to catch them. Apparently, we didn't contribute a lot to the chase, unfortunately.

Well, we still got some stage points, and Scully is still in the mix for the green jersey. Just no more gifts to the breakaways, please. Now, focus is on the climbers again - if Saggiorato can stay where he his, that'd be amazing. Anything inside the Top 10 would be fine, though.

Congrats to BNZ, and thanks for the report!

Yay Sono got a win!!! About time too. First win outside of a National Championship so Congratulations to Sono!!! (First ever signing to this team almost 5 years ago now). Good Old Man!!!!

Sorry Aidan Sad

Thanks for the report!!

You have got to be shitting me  First a Pinot fail and then this? I'd rather have gotten no result than be Zabel'd like that Pfft Congrats Jakstar

Certainly didn't expect a podium by Atapuma on that stage. Now it is vital that he can hold on to it on the following stage. Thank you so much for the reports! Smile

Really, Marquez? 24th and even losing time to Katrasnik, that's hard Sad

gg to Pinot, also nicely done by Warbasse to hold on to yellow! Thanks for the report, red Smile
