Guillén continues his Tropicale streak with a meh-sprint. Fifth place is better than nothing of course. Nice to see my young guys trying to make a train, but they're simply not on that level yet I fear. Let's hope for someone in the break tomorrow, as we won't be getting any screentime in the finale with Bru as our only puncheur (don't know if I'm still allowed to call him that )
Thanks for the report red, and congratulations to Scully with the stage win and yellow jersey!

It's the first time Merino Criado actually did a leadout - and it was a perfect one! Scully executes our plans in an amazing way, with a solid prologue and the win on stage two - great start to the race for us! Now up to the puncheurs to shine - however, having the race lead probably won't favor our breakaway ambitions.
Thanks for the report red, and thanks for the congrats everyone!

Brilliant sprint by Vedel Kvist! Hadn't it been for all the freakings time trials in every stage race, we would have done so so well this season |

Decent 4th place by VdS. Hope he does even better in the other sprint stages.
Congrats on the win Fabianski and thanks for the report

Great stage for us. Controlling the front, getting JJ in a good position and grabbing a second place and time gap for our effort. pretty much best case scenario. Of course winning would have been even better, but in a 1v1 with Kelderman, it makes sense JJ should lose.
Tomorrow we hope to be in the front group, best case with another placing or win.
Novak looking very dangerous as I predicted now. He can easily take the jersey in the TT, just a matter of how he does on stage 5 and 6 probably.

If craddock can get through tomorrow he can hopefully be way up in GC. He'll lose ground last 2 days so he'll need some breathing space

Great job by Zielinski and Gogl in the break. The end result though is nothing to brag about. Thank you for the extensive report! |

As expected, it was a lost day for us. Having the GC leader, none of our riders dared to attack, but at least Pernsteiner stayed with the first group. A bit disappointing to see him rather far back, as that long climb should definitely have suited him very well, but you can't always win...
For tomorrow, I hope we finally join the breakaway fun - or we bring Scully across the final hill, and he can deliver again.
Congrats to Abhi, Kelderman is right where he has to be for you. And thanks for the report, red.

Awesome to see the guys play an active part of the critical part of th stage, obviously expected to get run over by the likes of Kelderman. But I'll happilly take a first in the teams standings for now!

Nice to have a guy in the break and trying to contend for the KoM, was the best we could do. Six riders among the last twelve, they're trying to break some kind of record I think
Nice finale and a great win for Kelderman, but Novak seems to be very dangerous for the GC indeed. Congratulations to those that did well, including the reporter once again

Great to see us taking the reigns in the peloton! Although I’m a bit surprised given that we don’t have 1 rider on the favourite list Seibeb finding his legs and Ssabagwanya decimated that peloton. Meanwhile Reguigui did great with his 71 Hill - he’s poised for a good GC with the TT coming up.
At the pointy end, I’m happy to see the absolute favourite take the win and Juul-Jensen being as strong as he should be. Novak looking good for the overall!

Nice work by Connor W. Brown, trying to become the first mangame rider with an initial to win a stage. Still managed one of our best non-sprint results ever. Makes up a little for Keough's total failures in stage 1 and 2.
Thanks for the reports.

That hurts a bit. Belevics probably had little chance to stay with the break over the top of the climb anyway, but puncturing out of a winning move is always frustrating.
Had hoped the pack might do something, but the climb was too far from the finish given the lack of difficulty of stage in general.
Hopefully JJ had a plus day for his TT.

Hum... Mundle is not EXACTLY the rider we brought for this kind of stage... Thièry or Lienhard would have been a perfect fit, but well, with a 4th place and currently 2nd in the KoM standings I won't be complaining (too much).
Just a pity that Scully didn't manage to get some minor points, despite being in the big group. But he still wears green, so that's another two points secured.
Things probably won't look that bright after tomorrow's stage, but hopefully we'll send the right guys up front in stages 5+6.
Thanks for the report, red, and congrats yet again to Tryg, who are just winning pretty much everywhere they go right now...

First points of the season for Fulgencio Bru, he's already scored more than I expected now! Even though second is always a bit "hard to swallow", it's still a great accomplishment for him
Thanks for the report red, and congratz to Tryg once again!

Bru scored points? Which steaks do they serve in Argentina?

Oof, with 3 guys in the break (incl Ssabagawanya) we really should've won That being said, I only expected to score decently in the TT. Another strong performance from Tryg and a bit unexpected from Bru!
