Well got the shot of Frankovic in his Croation NC jersey, the fact it was on a mountain stage is probably not a ideal. And what the heck was Keough doing - he has sprints to win, let the one of the 75 mountain-focused teams lead the peloton.
But nice stuff from Kuss - 5th is excellent, need to be higher than 9th in GC though given the likely disaster on the TTT.

The dual leadership strategy finally pays off! Still can't compete with Pinot though... |

Apparently, Gustav has followed my reinstall proposal
Anyway, it's great to see Stocker and Cissé destroying the sprint competition like in the good old 2019 days! And it was about time for Theo to deliver his first win on the team, after four podium finishes earlier this season and 10 more Top 10 finishes - well deserved I'd say! And what an important win that was - if he survives tomorrow's stage, he'll finish at least 2nd in the points standings, which definitely was our goal here.
A bit sad to see Guillén just missing out of the podium, would have been nice if his former leadout train had pulled him to 2nd or 3rd as well! I love to see that the old man still has it
Thanks for the report, Gustav, obviously enjoyed the perfectly working sprint preparation this time! And Bralirwa prove as well that trains CAN indeed work out, congrats on a nice Selig result.

Ack. Bertilsson had Reinhardt's wheel and was in perfect position, until he just wasn't anymore. Let the gap go and paid the price. Glad he at least held on for 5th. 3 top 5's and some minor points here is not too bad actually, as it is a pretty wide sprinter's field.
Congrats Fabianski! Nice to see a sprint train work so well and deliver the fastest guy to the line first.
Interested to see how things go tomorrow, given that we dropped completely out of the GC hunt. i'd like to see us using our numbers and being aggressive, but I have a feeling we'll turtle and end up with 10-15 on GC and not much else.

Congratz Fabianski! As bbl said, nice to see sprint trains work.
It was a nice stage for us. Hayter did his best in the break and even managed to stay with the almighty Katrasnik on the flat. Then Guillén had a good sprint to finish fourth. Haven't scored that much so far, but can't say it is because of bad tactics. Maybe tomorrow Marquez can score some extra points with a good result, it will be necessary if he wants to get that top-10 sponsor goal.
Thanks for the report, Gustav

Not as good again but some points. The last two stages will be very important for us.
Congrats Fabianski and thanks for the report!

Well done to Keinath. His consistency is pretty good and regularly surprises due to his good alround stats.
Surprising to see Pinot losing his lead to Ranaweera, who for once had a decent stage here.
Garby as well a bit of a surprise. Weirdly just like Waeytens he apparently needed a team change to deliver. |

Nice surprise to see the sixth stage posted already
Hoped to see Petrovski in the attack to score KoM-points or go for a stage win as I thought the break would have survived until the end. They didn't though, so it doesn't matter that much. Very anonymous ride by Marquez, but he did manage to finish in the s.t. as Pinot and even climb up to sixth. As i mentioned yesterday, won't be scoring a lot of points in this race, but I think he should manage to hold his ground and finish in the top-7. No way the Carrefour rider won't pass him as they're only 2" behind and have a nice ttt setup.
Congratz to Sauber on a nice win, could be a close battle for the GC tomorrow Thanks for the report, G. Next time please uninstall that Centovalli-mod, as my team did better in Eritrea when you hadn't put it on your computer

Yeah great stuff from him once again beating stronger and more fancied climbers up a mountain . Now fingers crossed that we don't collapse in the TTT and put in a solid ride.
Congrats to sammy on the much awaited Ranaweera win and thanks for the report!

Nice to finally get a win from Ranaweera, I fear the amount of work we did today could mean the team is a little tired for tomorrow so it might only be on loan but we'll fight hard to hold onto it as it would be a massive points jump for us and be crazy helpful in our attempt to climb up the rankings.
Beating Pinot still feels like upsetting the favourite even if Ranaweera should be only a half step behind him at worst.
Got to say I'm with Fabianki on liking the new reports, they definitely favour the Swiss teams better than the previous ones

Congrats, sammy! That huge Ranaweera training investment is really paying off here!
On our side, it was yet another pathetic mountain stage. The guys were close to the end of the pack right from the start of the climb, which is always a bad sign. Worse, Saggiorato was the guy who got dropped first today. Both him and Manfredi had a single good day each this season so far, which despite our rather low expectations is clearly not enough.
At least, Reinhardt secured the green jersey, so we'll still take a decent amount of points home thanks to our sprinters department. The climbers had a race to forget and will only score minor points unfortunately. Luckily for us, the mountains are almost over this season now, except for Langkawi and Transfagarasan.
Thanks for the report, Gustav, and thanks for installing that Swiss-Teams mod

I have no explanation for Garby except that his new team may not crack down on suspicious behaviors as much as we do.
Better stage from the team for sure. I really wanted to see aggression, like I said earlier, but given that that was never going to happen, this is about the best recovery I could hope for. Warbasse sneaks back into the top 10 after a good day of climbing, and could probably end up anywhere from 8th-12th now after the TTT. That horrendous stage 4 really looms large obviously, but everyone has bad days. Nothing to do now.
Fabbro looked good for a while too, but again cracked hard. He and Eg just don't seem to live up to their stats this year. It's nice to see them wearing white and in the frame, but they just don't act like they have 78 and 77 mountain, pretty much ever.
It was nice to see Sulvaran in the break. Schlumberger will be pleased. We haven't had any breakaway men in a while, so it's fun to be involved. Gyasi really wasn't the best option for a pure mountain stage though. With Eg so far behind, he would have been a much better candidate.
All in for the TTT tomorrow. Don't think we have much of a shot at the stage win, but maybe we can squeeze out a few more seconds on competitiors, and gain a few more points.

Feared that was going to turn into a disaster but Kuss finished ok and gained a place on GC in the end. Will undoubtedly lose at least that in the TTT but probably will end up about where we should
Very puzzled by us being anywhere near the front as a team. If only we had showed that spirit on the first sprit stage.
Congrats to Sauber, deserved to get a win. Thanks for the reports.

4th at the moment. I'd love a podium but considering our track record in TTTs we will be lucky to hang onto our 4th overall...
Still a solid tour with a victory and some solid results throughout!
Congrats Sauber and great report!

Has been an up and down race for us, but a TTT to finish off could really go a few ways with both Chamorro and Novak in the top 15. In all likelyhood if we do well, it might involve Chamorro getting dropped, even though the profile is so short. Anyway, hopefully Novak pulls through. |

Two places lost on the TTT, probably as good as could be expected, at least held onto a top 10, which is probably fair.
Thanks for the reports Gus and congrats to Pinot for continuing to assert his dominance.
