I know I'm quite late to the party, but I just have to express how satisfying watching all that karma for Quinn Simmons was.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

I'm going to make a big bet here, but Merlier will win at least 2 TdF stages this year.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Maybe the cyclo-cross at the off-season is really paying off for the Alpecin guys, they are flying. Certainly can win a stage in Tirreno-Adriatico again (safer bet).
Worthy mentioning Cav's second place, his best result since 3rd at a Tour of Turkey stage in 2019. Nice showing. |

A big first win for Mauri Vansevenant in GP Industria today, also fun to see his family (including his dad Wim who holds the lanterne rouge record ) cheer him on.

Close again for João Almeida.
Entertaining race so far in Italy - stages 4 and 5 can come soon enough. <3 |

I was also rooting for Mäder to stay ahead and win it, and was "disappointed" to see Roglic overtake him in the end. Nevertheless, I don't think you can really blame Roglic. It's not like he was away with Mäder for 50k, who for example helped him to stay ahead and win the GC. He wanted to win the stage before it started, his team helped in the chase and he won. Whether he takes the win in the final meters or the pack flies by the last breakaway rider at 2 km to the finish line, what does it matter? It's not like it is against the rules
Like i said, i was rooting for Mäder, but Roglic/Jumbo Visma also want to win and they have every right to do so. He took seconds on his opponents and also bonification seconds by winning, and that was what they were after from the start.

Well we all know I am the first one when it is time to bash and ridicule Roglic but this is cycling and the point is winning the stage. Given that it his third stage win, it might be extreme but what can you say, to me he is a douche anyway but winning is his job lol

Pogacar wrecked the Prati di Tivo 2013 Froome record.
Look at this numbers!
