Thanks for organising Croatia, it was fun!
As someone new to the game, I would definitely ask questions that have been asked before, so if people are ok with it I'd like to organise an opposite version where you have to score as few points as possible. But if we want to stay with the original, I don't mind someone else doing it.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I'd say it's harder to get questions that would both be fun to answer and have a narrow-ish range of answers to think of. But if you have ideas go ahead, after all, I am a professional at that.

Can give this a try, although the questions shouldn't really be that different to a normal game.
Equally as the game before now hadn't been played for over a year or so repeating questions is fine with me also! We have a lot of different players to before which will always give a different outcome.
I think basically, i'd prefer the standard game and set-up, just with less open questions than Croatia (which i appreciated the chance to be weird and fun with answers, but i struggled for motivation to play seriously, and looking at the other answers i think a number of others also had this issue). And i think you'd be good for that

Don't think anyone remembers old questions. I'd be for another round of the same old. Also I second TMM, please less open questions. Round 3 and Round 4 in particular were not a lot of fun, imho.

I don't really see the point of a game where you try to guess different of the others since it's somewhat easier to guess what others won't say rather than what most people would say.
And I agree we need less open questions. Maybe keep the open questions to be like one per round or something like that.

After a very slow start, I seem to be getting back into things, with good performances the last 3 rounds and a podium finish.
I think I'd prefer the normal game still (I don't remember the questions that were asked so many years ago). But I'm down for whatever, either way sounds fun.
Edit: Also, thanks to jdog for the vote for me. Honestly though, I think I'm an overrated member if anything. I'm just kind of here all the time without contributing anything.

Good finish for me, congrats Ollfardh and thanks for hosting Croatia!
I agree with the others, I would also keep the current format and prefer a few less open questions, as it was really quite tough in a way to come up with reasonable answers for a few questions. Personally I would probably prefer questions were you can kind of come up with answers straight away and don't "have to" google stuff or something, as I'm not really willing to invest a massive amount of time into this.

Well, that would be the point, to find an answer the others won't guess. I'll give an example:
If there's a question, name a Paris-Roubaix winner from the last 20 years, O'Grady would be harder to guess then Cancellara, but you would also need to consider that if no one goes for Cancellara, it might suddenly become a good answer.
But it seems there's little interest for it, so I'll let someone else have a go.

Yes, a wrong answer would give you the maximum score +3. I'll work out the example in full.
Question: Name a Paris Roubaix winner of the last 20 years.
1) Cancellara
2) Cancellara
3) Boonen
4) Boonen
5) Boonen
6) O'Grady
7) Vansummeren
8) Froome
9) Sagan
10) Gilbert
Cancellara would result in 2 points, Boonen in 3. O'Grady, Vansummeren, Sagan and Gilbert each score 1. Froome is a wrong answer so scores 6 points.
Obviously you can't look up answers for this.
