That's what I always thought. I usually set the bid threshold high; I don't want to be forced into accepting a lower offer if my circumstances change.

He has to, if the threshold is met. But yeah, of course he can accept another (e.g. swap) offer before it's auto-confirmed after one day. But it basically means that if someone does place an offer that matches the minimum, the rider will be gone anyway.

Well if someone bids higher I think he can accept that offer too. Question is how long can one wait as I understood it and here comes the confirmation in.

Of course, in an auction the highest bid should be accepted, I guess you can't accept a lower one.
You can wait with confirmation as long as you want, but according to my understanding of the rules, the highest offer is auto-confirmed after one (transfer) day without new offers.

I probably won't be able to make the transfer update tonight, so will extend the day by 12 hours. Everything sent in until the update is still valid |

Thanks for the info.
Do you have an idea what that will mean for the remaining timeline? Will all the times just be shifted by 12h, or will they remain the same? For me, 36h for day 3 is enough, but that might not be the case for everyone.

Thanks for delaying the inevitable disappointment until tomorrow, so I can have two days in a row ruined by this site instead of having to face it all today.

Top signing of the day again going to KBC, good job
Edit: I'd say time for the end of the next day stays the same |

Got my dream candidate! But I made a tiny list mistake, should have listed another rider twice, ahead of a guy I'm now leading on. Live and learn.

Well things honestly look pretty terrible for me now. I guess it was my mistake for being too strict in terms of nationalities of my riders. But I should have relegated last year already anyway, so I guess it just got delayed by one year.

There was a small error in the FA table where some signed riders were reassigned to other teams if more teams bid the same amount.
It is fixed now, affected teams were: Ceramica Panaria, Grupo Argos, Credit Suisse & KBC
Also Team Latvijas Balzams seems to be in a bad position concerning their budget. They are allowed to give away some of their riders to other teams for free.

Wow, Team BP, KBC and Ceramica running away with it, whilst CCC, Credit Suisse, Santos and Vegeta will have a hard time to score.

Uh, this is still the exact same team which just won the CT. Why do you think can't we do it again?
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I just think it's funny that there are more managers thinking they'll relegate for sure than there are teams relegating |

Yeah and in the end everyone is staying up because of disbanding teams.

Too early to make such a call, Shonak, those teams all still have a lot of money - jandal has spent nothing yet, Luigi bought one U23 rider, Vali has most of his money still in hand. And CCC is looking pretty good with TVG and Ewan considering they started with the smallest budget.
Ceramica did too well in the focus races, inacceptable that a newly promoted team has a clearly higher budget than my squad of heroes who finished 7th in the WT! While KBC was simply ruthless.

Just one clarification: Will riders that have been in negotioations from day 0 sign after this day? Because it's the third day, right?

Bad luck and/or bad management here too. Ewan was signed for what I originally had set as a max bid before I got greedy on some other riders. Got outbid by just 5 on both Mousavi and Nass too, but I wasn't going to risk missing out on bigger targets to fight for them.
