The perfect season

During lockdown, with all the time on my hand, I've made several attempts to hit the perfect season, and I finally succeeded.

The perfect season means winning ALL of the CWT stage races and classics during the first year in a career.

It's pretty much a challenge to not make a single mistake or mistime one sprint for the whole season! (Difficulty level: hard)

I made a custom team with 26 riders and used the whole budget. In terms of stats and price tags I used the latest version of the World DB.

Besides completing the rather crazy mission I made some fun achievements. Tadej Pogacar winning all of the three GT's and Wout van Aert winning all of the 5 monuments stands out.

I finished the season with 44.368 World tour points. Runner up Deceuninck finished with 7390.


Individually the 7 most top scoring riders was all from my team:
Tadej Pogacar - 8150
Wout van Aert - 7747
Mads Pedersen - 7401
Marc Hirschi - 5727
Egan Bernal - 4307
Miguel Angel Lopez - 3012
Mikkel Frølich Honoré - 2393

If anyone is interested I can post all the results.

The question is now which race will be the first I miss. The team is even stronger now with improved stats and new riders Ganna and Nizzolo.
I've started the 2021 season and is currently riding Paris-Nice.

You won all GT, one-week races, as well as each individual stage of those races, and the one-day classics from World Tour? Pretty crazy.

Even with a stacked team, that is an absolutely insane accomplishment. Awesome job!

I won all GT's, one-week races and classics (both CWT A and CWT B)
Not every single individual stage in one-weeks but obviously a lot of them.

Before increasing difficulty I will se how far this can go Wink
