Great way to bounce back after a poor first stage. Once again, Guarnieri left a gap to Perera, but it was a lot smaller than in Barbados, and also Perera was able to keep the lead-out going a lot closer to the line, so that helped massively.
Feel sorry for TMM though, that was basically a head-to-head dual and Ewan should honestly be winning that. It’s not new that the best sprinter performs poorly against weak competition - to some extent it was also the case on the old game, but with Ewan it’s been way worse than I’ve seen before.

This is very frustrating to watch, even as someone with no stakes in it.
No idea what made the mess start in Barbados and continue here to this extent.

Great job by the team for once, less so by Reinhardt. Still, compared with many better sprinters (on paper), I definitely can't complain - and the few bonus seconds taken by Cissé are very welcome, too.
Of course, I was hoping to get the first win of the season when I saw the boys so present up front, but Cissé apparently launched a bit too early for Reinhardt's rather poor stamina. Still, 3 stages, 4x Top 10 is huge in this strong field!
Thanks for the report once again, and congrats to Ivan!
Btw, what happened to Stocker? Early puncture? He definitely shouldn't lose 15 minutes on that stage...

8th, 5th and now 3rd, can Saber keep improving?
Probably not, but he's worked his way into a good GC position now. Just have to keep this level of consistency now for the final two stages.

The Kristoff purchase (along with Konig since both were a package deal) was worth it. However this isn't over yet - not by a long shot. There are 2 more stages left and now Kristoff has a big target on his back.

Wow, really happy with my "flat beasts" attacking so far. Great publicity and actually on their way to score some depth points both in the GC and the KoM-classification. I hope they still get the chance to be in the breakaway now they're around 15th in the GC.

I also feel Sorry for TMM, but I think the results are kinda as expected. Using Nelson as a lead out is not very smart, especially if Ewan is the lead sprinter. Its a shame, but not surprising. On the other hand I love how Kristoff and Saver are doing well this race!

I'd agree if we were actually making leadouts. But you saw in Stage 3 the whole team was absent. On Stage 2 Ricki lead out fine only to lose a 1v1 , and back to Stage 1 were weren't making a leadout again. Similar pattern back in Barbados, where Ricki was absent.
Lead out or no, Ricki or no, our sprinting is a complete dice roll. To the extent Ricki has our only stage win of the season. Whilst Ewan has podiumed with or without him. And we've seen Dekker and Steimle out do Kek and Aberasturi a few times.
Still, will be fun to see how it works in CT when we can't afford a leadout at all and we get a true test
