Welcome back, Scatmaster!
Luigi didn't say he doesn't want to promote. Just that his team isn't competitive and that he might have to invest in new riders for once.

Great team choice Scatmaster!
Credit Suisse, CCC, KBC and Vegeta will get the remaining WT spots. That's also what I thought would be the fairest!
@Ollfardh: It's not really pushing up the "more liked teams" up. The rankings are still the main argument for this decision.
I don't want to reduce the WT size as that will reduce the amount of big spenders and with less teams I think they should stay the same. I'm hoping for some more signups and ICBC will also stay. Maybe if after that the teams are still too few, we can add some manageress teams. |

Thanks for the unexpected bump, will be fun to participate at the top level
The is news is definitely going to send McRettin into spin. Can he change his mind on having a U23 team?

Well done, everybody! I'm very pleased with Aviva's performance in the goal races since there was no obvious race to pick, but tough to see so many teams doing even better.

I guess I have to step up to the game this time. Budget will probably be smaller so I need good transfers period. Gonna be hard but interesting. |

Well thanks for pardoning us Bikex, hopefully we'll manage to do better next year. Villella saved ourselves a bit in Tre Valli Varesine in terms of focus races, let's see if we can make use of this extra cash.

One more question - is scoring for focus races the same as the general point scales - so any points matter or is there more focus on specific aspects?

All points matter. That is, how well you do in a focus race depends on the % of available points your team scored in that race - and the more teams participate, the smaller the % needs to be.
Up to a limit. For example, as you can read from the tables above: The WC TTT was fully booked with 24 teams and the 16.8% of points scored by Grupo Argos was just enough to make the maximum amount of 350 (for a WT race) - the same as Vittel, who won the race and scored 23.1% of the points. While 16.8% wasn't quite enough for Peugeot to make the full 350 in the Ster ZLM Tour where 22 teams lined up.

Thanks for the explanation, I assumed that it was more like a sponsor goal so finishing in the top 5 or winning stages matter and not total points. Not sure I would have selected differently but kind of burst my bubble since I was pretty happy with winning 2 of my 3 focus races and it turned out not to be all that exciting. It helps to pay attention to the rules.

Thank you - it was an existing kit that I redid to be simpler and so that I could add more nc kits, I found it again that day on my old harddrive and just went 'yeah, this will do'

Profiles for the 2020 season have been updated. Some races see a change while some stay the same. All previous profiles starting from 2018 are also present in the thread: https://pcmdaily....d_id=49157
Please let me know in case you spot any errors.

Interesting GTs with more TTs, makes the races to pick hard but should be three great GTs once again.

Pretty interesting routes for the GTs, with not too many chances for sprinters. All look pretty brutal with a lot of mountain stages so yeah, maybe it's time to invest into more climbers.
