Ricki getting up to speed, still annoyed PCM isn't using Kek & Aberasturi but i kind of knew this would be the case. Don't think we'll get a stage win but another podium won't be awful.

Great start to the season for Guarnieri. Hopefully we can hold onto the points jersey now. Need the pure puncheurs to keep Kump and Houle from taking many points on the next stage.
Meanwhile a bit worried about our train. Not sure why Perera isn’t getting involved. Sarreau certainly isn’t fast enough to act as the final lead-out rider. As long as Guarnieri can switch wheels without taking too much wind, it doesn’t matter too much though.

Nothing official really, but a quick poll/bet for the Willunga Hill winner before it`s posted later the day.

Cool, two riders in the Top 10 (points?) and another Strava alumnus winning a stage. Works for me. Merci roturn, and gratz to the win.
1 point for 8th place, none for 9th-10th in C1 races. Nonetheless, another good result for you - nice fight in the breakaway
And Guarnieri... Wow, that guy's on fire! Hope we won't meet too often...

Wippert had a fantastic wheel obviously but wasn't strong enough to contend in the sprint. Edmondson finishing high up and protecting his GC place. Excited to see how this tour pans out. Edmondson seems to be in fantastic form!

No show from Yates, but at least his main competitors didn't gain any bonus seconds either. Bring on Willunga Hill!
Also just noticed Jernej Svab leading the U25 competition. A bounce back showing from him after he was dropped off the back in the Down Under Classic.

Vesely in a good position but then sprints backwards. Where have I seen this before?
Starting to think the problem wasn't Vantomme but us.
Avelino's legacy going strong!
All-in for Borges
Good sprint stage for us with pure sprinters taking the first positions and even Bruno outsprint Kump. I'm excited for Willunga now!

obviously not what we were hoping for in terms of getting 13th in a sprint, but now Kump just gotta show the world what he's made off on Willunga!

Thanks. Indeed, getting riders in the break is always good, perhaps there is a shot at the KoM too.

Great stuff from Zeke Mostov - do we have a most aggressive rider award?

Meh, I did not expect having to wait so long for Gaviria's first career win.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Dissapointing that Kump literally comes last in the first group, now it's down to him to outsprint Houle tomorrow, but unsure if that's gonna happen given the previous sprints. 2nd in the GC is obviously not a horrible result but a win would be a massive boost to our survival bid.
Massive congrats to Gustav on the win.

Poor Robov - fell short of winning the KoM climb
At the very least the performance of Grashev and Robov in breakaways is respectable and Marchewka was also in a break, so technically counts.
All and all, a very mediocre race for us. (yeah, I know the race ain't over yet to throw the towel)

Thanks for another fine report. Roux and Kreder with a decent finish, albeit we got unlucky to lose so much time. Seeing the riders ahead I don't think it was overly selective, too bad that Roux threw his GC away but at least Kreder is somewhat within Top 25
gratz to the winner

Oh so close... Move the finish line back a few feet and Yates not only wins his first stage for Desigual but gives himself a chance to win the GC on the final stage. Still, good result nonetheless. Svab hanging onto best young rider is a nice bonus.

Great effort by Gaviria, just on the wrong side of the split. A stage win tomorrow would make the result acceptable.

Woohooo! Victory!
What a great performance by Borges, so strong in that finish. Just a shame it didn't lead to gaps, but it's great to see a stage victory so early in the season.
Thanks for words WJ and thanks for the reports roturn!

so close
A few meters ahead and I think Paulinho had won. Still, second place is a great result, and shows Paulinho completely different from the previous season.
I was hoping for more differences in terms of time but it was also good because it allows Silvestre to achieve a good place in the GC.
For the last stage I hope to see Silvestre again in the fight for victory and who knows to get a few more bonus seconds that will allow him to climb in the overall and maybe also finish in the top10
Congrats Gustavovskiy and thanks for the report roturn
