Morning All.

League Table has been updated with the results of the Giro Roas and the Tour de France. Congrats to Knasen on his Maiden win, and Clamel on his 8th.

Clamel's win in the Giro Rosa see's him take the lead in the Women's Competition, and with 20 bonus points he has a nice advantage over Freitas and Tamijo.

Overall, Banesi has held on to the lead, but Clamel has made up a bit of ground and is now only 10 points back. There are still several players within striking distance of the lead.

Good Luck All

I'm already feeling the pressure Rolling Eyes
Good luck to you all for Giro d'Italia.

@ringo thanks for doing all this stuff. Will it be somewhere divided between women and men league table?

Good luck to all in Giro Smile

Thank you for the update, ringo!

I'm really struggling to find "comfortable" teams this season. Though, admittedly most of them have been put together on very short notice and on very few minutes. Life is busy!

Apparently that has given me a helping hand in Binck Bank, where I had no clue Bissegger wasn't supposed to ride, and that's the reason many managers don't have him.

clamel
And when we had this extra Classic taken away in "our" league another one popped up. The Womens Classic race, starting already on Sunday.

Well no one can complain that we have no races to pick cyclist for. Almost think that this Women Classic will be included since we haven't got that many in the Womens category.

Very tough period for our hero Ringo. Keeping THREE leaderboards in order. Best of luck to you mate.

I'm definitely starting to get burnt out from all this action. I don't know how Ringo stays sane.

Women's races appear to be locking in about 3am my time, so I don't expect to get many full rosters if they keep waiting until the last minute to finalize.

Hi all. Yep, the Women's classics game will be included within the women's competition and the overall competition, so get your entries in Wink

I've had a cracking start at the Giro. I've got Ganna, Bjerg, Foss and Thomas in my team. 4 of the top 5 today. And I was looking at Almeida too, but couldn't fit him in as he was 2 points too expensive

@Ringo can I still join for Giro? Have had a busy year and forgot about joining the PCM league and havent been doing a lot of Velogames... but I’ve got off to a good start in the Giro now!

Hi Timo.

Yep, I would guess you just need to join the PCM.Daily League using the below code. Let us know if that doesn't work and we can see if anyone has any idea how you can join.

Hey guys.

I was in the middle of updating the tinky winky Binkybank results when my wife rather selfishly went into labour. I'll get the points updated for the Binkbank Tour and the tour of Portugal ASAP.

Cheers

Congratulations!! Hope mum and baby are well!!

Congrats, true winner!

Thanks All. Mother and baby are both doing very well. We were in and out of hospital in less than 24 hours.

Anyway, back to the important stuff Cool

I have updated the results of the Binckbank Tour and the Tour of Portugal to the leader board. Congrats to Freitas for his second race win at the Binckbank Tour and to rastuff for his maiden victory in Portugal. A special mention goes to Freitas who managed to finish in the top 50 overall in both races.

In the overall standings Clamel has moved to the top and pulled out a lead of over 20 points. ember, Banesi and LaChouffe are the nearest contenders and are all within 2 points of each other, Gargatouf and Roturn are a little further back, and probably the only others close enough to realistically catch Clamel in the remaining races of the season. Although with the Giro, Vuelta and SuperClassico Games all worth 50 points for the winner there is every chance for someone to make up some serious ground in the last few races.

Good luck all.

Don't think I will be able to challenge. Having a terrible time in Italy. Decided to go for Gaviria as my sprinter so that I can have the two more points to get Vlasov in!!! SadSadSad

FreitasPCM
I feel your pain. Well, maybe I can send out an apology because whatever sprinter I choose in GTs they either fail to deliver or crash out. So it’s my curse. Sorry, Gaviria owners.

Think only time it didn’t happen was last year with Ackermann.

Evening All

I have finally got around to updating the league table for the Womens Classics, Superclassico and Giro.

Congrats to Clamel, Ember and Laco on their race wins.

Congrats also to Clamel who has won the Women'd race competition 2020.

Clamel also currently leads the overall game by 21 points from Banesi and 29 from ember. With only the Vuelta left to race it'll all come down to the final performance in Spain.

The Mens competition is also still up for grabs. Banesi is actually leading the mens comp at the moment, 11 points clear of ember and 18 points ahead of Clamel.

Good Luck in Spain everyone.

Apparently there will be a fantasy Women’s Madrid Challenge starting tomorrow, according to George... will this be part of the overall championship?

I think we should just leave it at the Vuelta.

Clamel has an unassailable lead in the Women's game and the inclusion of this race at such short notice might catch too many players out.

I can't see any mention of it yet on the Velogames website.

The Vuelta is the final race of the 2020 Velogames Season.

Cheers All
