Here we are with the 9th season of NFL Prediction Game! It's simple, you just pick the winner of every NFL game, and guess the score of one. The elimination game will also return for the 7th time!

- Same rules as every year. Picks must be done through PM to me. I will send out weekly reminders as usual. Do not forget one of the games will require you to guess the final score.
- I will still post games here in case a new player wants to join. This thread is used for discussions and standings updates.
- The Week 1 games are not posted yet, so don't PM Me yet with any games!
- If you plan on playing this year please post a comment here and let me know. Most previous players will automatically get a PM for Week 1.
ELIMINATOR RULES:
1. You can only lose 1 time, after that once you lose again, you are out.
2. You can only pick a team if you have not picked them before.
3. Picking a team for eliminator means you also must pick that team in the main game.
4. Once you have run out of teams to pick (playoffs only), instead of being eliminated, you will be assigned the team you picked in week 1, and then 2, and so on until you lose.
The users playing fantasy football and the users that have played prediction game before will automatically get PM's and then after 3 weeks of not playing in a row you will be removed from the list.

As we laid on the verge of the first ever PERFECT week in our pick'em contest, Las Vegas spoiled the party for sosososik and dinger. The eliminator has also taken the first chance for bball, kandes, and TMM.

Yes, bbl is the first one eliminated from the eliminator. TMM & kandes are still hanging on with one chance left. The rest of us are still sitting pretty 3 weeks in.
I hold the overall lead still by 1 over Mresuperstar who is coming off a strong week 3. Still a very tight race early in the season with anybody in contention.

Overall, jseadog1 and dinger are tied for the overall lead. Mre, cunego, and kandes are all tied for bronze and are 3 points behind the leaders!

Very close action as 4 players are all within 1 point of the lead. Dallas sneaked out a win which kept almost everyone in the eliminator alive. Still bbl is the only one out. No Thursday Night game this week, instead we get a Monday afternoon game.

Not a good week for me. Not having faith in my own Miami Dolphins costs me the eliminator (LA Rams) and also tied me for having the worst week.
dinger & cunego59 are the only perfect teams left in the eliminator while still everybody but bbl remains in the contest hoping to bounce back. There are 5 teams within 3 points of the overall lead so it is still wide open.

kandes and myself have joined bbl as the three members eliminated from the eliminator game.
dinger remains perfect after TB squeaked out a win. Still 4 other players alive in the game, including TMM who rebounded nicely after a week 1 loss.
Overall, dinger has 78 over cunego's 77. Mre leaps into 3rd with 76 and there is a 2-way tie between me and kandes with 75.

We now only have 3 teams left in the eliminator game. dinger remains perfect on the season while TMM continues his surge since week 1. Mresuperstar is the other remaining player.
Overall, the top 2 players have started some separation from the field but there are 4 other players behind chasing the lead pack.

Friendly reminder that Steelers & Ravens play today at 3:40 PM EST, so next week's picks will not be sent out until tonight/tomorrow morning. No Thursday game this week anyway.
Small update, dinger loses back to back in the eliminator and we will officially have a two man race between TMM & MRE. Someone will be eliminator champion! Mre currently owns the tiebreaker as he went the longest to start the year without a loss. Therefore, TMM will need to outlast Mre by 1 week to win!
