Vilnius GP
After last month's Monterrey TTT, it's time for its C2HC cousin - the Vilnius GP. The second largest city in the Baltic States is well known for its rich history and culture, and home team DK Zalgiris have been seeking to put it on the map for cycling as well.
They are one of the favourites here, alongside Glanbia Foods, Adastra - Hell Energy and Euskaltel - Elior. However, if Monterrey taught us anything it is to expect the unexpected - could we see one of the outsiders spring a surprise here?

Wow the TT ability of some of these C2 teams is crazy. I specifically made a point to improving the overall TT ability of my squad, but we still have very little in chances of winning here simply due the overwhelming skills of a few other teams. With any luck we can sneak into a podium.
On a different note, I feel as through a stroke of magic Eastman and Intxausti have generally avoided each other most of the season, so it is comically here, not some mountain that they can become rivals.

it was an epic gamer moment on my part to beat Eastmans bitch ass on my homesoil. All calculated.
oh and we better win this. Glanbia probably win this most of the time but weve worked hard with organisers to ensure a fair and competitive race where there can be absolutely no rigging possible, just like we d id back in a day before all those doped up scrubs like Roux came along

We have to be here, so we're here. But even if we had lined up the best possible squad, it'd probably have been worth 0 points, so we didn't. Young riders and loanees are the right ones to torture with this race.

Hoping for a half decent result here! Got a pretty solid squad.

Can't hide my disappointment - this season has been a disaster for us and a complete teardown must be made for next season. Obviously with this roster can't get over the hump. Better reinforcements or completely new set of top tier riders will be needed.

What a great win for OMW Petrom, so happy to see Pavlic doing really well for them this year.

Well, 12th is absolutely OK, given we were ranked 15th in the preview
How's the Ranking Points scale actually? Didn't find the race in the official file...
Congrats to OMV, they're having a surprisingly good season so far - and surprise is pretty much what I'd say about this result

Disappointing very average finish for us, not a good use of Eastman racedays which hurts.

I’ll take 3rd but rather disappointing that we lost out to a team which really shouldn’t be winning there

Was rooting for Pogi and Adastra initially, but I can for sure get behind an upset win for OMV Petrom

Given our TT background, I am pretty happy with 7th place. Well done to OMV on the win
