In the middle of the Corona-crisis, 21 and Done is back for another Episode. This time it will be the April version of the draft. This time it's about figuring out who may come back strong out of the pandemic, who may impress in online races or just about taking a couple of punts.
Also: Be prepared for a potential double-round in order to compensate for the 3 months in between, depending on the number of participants.
Timeline for the April Draft
- Draw of pick order: 19.4.2020
- Start of the draft: 21.4.2020. 21:21 daily time
- 21 hours on the clock for each pick
- 1 round of drafting
- Sign-Up is open from now on
- New Paticipants can take two extra picks after the April draft has taken place, in which they can, make up for some ground they lost missing the kick-off draft and later ones.
Rules are the same as claimed in the opening post:
Draft System:
- Different system for kick-off draft than for future draft
- Randomized numbers (1-1000) determine draft ranking
- Each draft new draw of positions
- High pick in last round -> lower chance of high number in next round (lower range to reach up high f.e. 1-700)
How to draft:
- Your are allowed/wanted to post your choice in here yourself
- Draft lists are possible to send in if you can't post in time
- Make clear for everybody who you drafted!
Draft failures:
- If you post an invalid rider will be skipped
- If you post not in time (and didn't hand in a draft list) you will be skipped
- People are welcome to point out invalid drafts/order issues
- invalid drafts are allowed to be cancelled in hindsight even if unnoticed earlier without compensation
-> If you missed/failed your post, you can draft as soon as possible even though somebody else is on the clock
Eligeability:
- 21 or younger at the exact draft time
- male gender
- Pcm.daily time is the official game time
- Not the draft beginning time, but the time when you make your pick decides about whether a rider is eligeable or not
- No fictional riders are allowed
The draft will start at the 21st of April 21:21 daily time.

Again we find ourselves with a double draft. This time we have the draw very early so that people can prepare for the draft properly. I also hope trekbmc and kandesbunzler come back to this draft, there have been hints towards that. Also, both trekbmc and kandesbunzler as well as cio could take an extra draft-pick after the double-draft to make up for their deficit of rider atm. The same thing applies to anyone that starts new.
In April we have a first idea of which riders may have taken which role in their teams, so it's a very handy advantage to draft the ones that did really well first. Otherwise, more chances to accumulate your favourite talents in your draft squad.
The draft started with Abhishek having some good numbers and then falling off horribly. Aquarius, with the best odds, got by far the best average and will start the draft. Second will be df_trek with some of the worst odds but drafting second again! FreitasPCM, cio93, Shonak and trekbmc will follow pretty much according to the odds.
Contrarily redodead will pick last, but that's reflecting the luck of picking first in the last draft. Croatia and jandal unlucky as well despite having average odds.
That leads us to the following draft schedule:

The draft will start at the 21st of April 21:21 daily time, with Aquarius97 picking first. Due to missing the last draft, cio93, kandesbunzler26 and trekbmc are allowed to pick one rider extra after the draft (in first-come-first-serve order). Remember that you are allowed to skip a person if the person does not draft within his/her 21 hours of draft time. |
