Coming to the CT division. Lots of C1 and C2 events alongside only 1 C2HC actually and a tiny participation in HC even with solid scoring.
Euskaltel was the best team in the big races. Not only their Langkawi trip was very successful, but also Slovenie was a smart decision against the better PCT teams. Moser and Nibali were great and also depth with Costa and Borisavljevic worked out for them.
Next to them Netia (Kwiatkowski) scored well just like Bianchi, GCN and NENT.
| | | Total | Lan | Slo | 1 | | Euskaltel - Elior | 278 | 181 | 97 | 2 | | Netia - Vonin | 155 | 155 | 0 | 3 | | Bianchi - Campagnolo | 131 | 131 | 0 | 4 | | GCN ProTeam | 123 | 123 | 0 | 5 | | NENT Racing p/b Hootsuite | 122 | 122 | 0 | 6 | | Glanbia Foods Cycling Project | 84 | 84 | 0 | 7 | | Azteca - NBCSN | 82 | 82 | 0 | 8 | | CYBEX Platinum | 53 | 53 | 0 | 9 | | Tryg Insurance Cycling Team | 48 | 48 | 0 | 10 | | Centovalli - Fiat | 46 | 46 | 0 | 11 | | Adastra - Hell Energy Cycling | 42 | 42 | 0 | 12 | | OMV Petrom-albania.al | 41 | 41 | 0 | 13 | | DK Zalgiris | 29 | 29 | 0 | 14 | | Equinor Pro Cycling | 13 | 13 | 0 | 15 | | McCormick Pro Cycling | 12 | 12 | 0 | 16 | | BNZ Cycling Team | 11 | 11 | 0 | 17 | | Eddie Stobart | 9 | 9 | 0 |
Scoring against PCT teams is not always easy and despite quite a lot of C1 races, scoring is rather small here. Azteca with lots of C1 race days only scored 88 points in total to be the CT`s best here.
McCormick though had a good Ras Tailteann with 85 points making their trip worth it.
NENT, Tryg, Bianchi, Netia all scored decent in total.

C2 had more points on offer this period with only 5 races. Sprinters in Juarez, allrounders in HongKong, cobblers in Herning and Viana do Castelo and puncheurs in Gisborne.
NENT Racing participated in all, scored in all, top the ranking. Main points are coming by Boivin, who surprised in Juarez against stronger sprinters and Van Keirsbulck in the cobbles.
Euskaltel also scored well here with Moser in Juarez and Nibali in HongKong. Clearly their two top riders so far, which is needed as Costa is not having his best season.
GCN, Netia, Equinor the only other teams with 100+ scorings.
| | | Total | Her | Via | Gis | HKG | Jua | 1 | | NENT Racing p/b Hootsuite | 241 | 23 | 85 | 20 | 25 | 88 | 2 | | Euskaltel - Elior | 175 | 0 | 0 | 12 | 88 | 75 | 3 | | GCN ProTeam | 136 | 27 | 0 | 0 | 53 | 56 | 4 | | Netia - Vonin | 130 | 10 | 47 | 0 | 46 | 27 | 5 | | Equinor Pro Cycling | 112 | 0 | 0 | 32 | 14 | 66 | 6 | | OMV Petrom-albania.al | 94 | 13 | 0 | 1 | 27 | 53 | 7 | | Adastra - Hell Energy Cycling | 91 | 0 | 7 | 0 | 27 | 57 | 8 | | CYBEX Platinum | 90 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 89 | 1 | 9 | | Azteca - NBCSN | 88 | 20 | 0 | 45 | 0 | 23 | 10 | | BNZ Cycling Team | 70 | 0 | 0 | 17 | 31 | 22 | 11 | | Bianchi - Campagnolo | 48 | 12 | 4 | 0 | 0 | 32 | 12 | | McCormick Pro Cycling | 42 | 32 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 9 | 13 | | Tryg Insurance Cycling Team | 34 | 13 | 1 | 20 | 0 | 0 | 14 | | Eddie Stobart | 32 | 0 | 0 | 32 | 0 | 0 | 15 | | Centovalli - Fiat | 31 | 0 | 0 | 6 | 25 | 0 | 16 | | Glanbia Foods Cycling Project | 30 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 30 | 17 | | DK Zalgiris | 28 | 4 | 0 | 24 | 0 | 0 |
NENT was 2nd, now leads the CT due to high consistency while Euskaltel climb from bottom to top being new 2nd.
GCN and Azteca also being consistent remaining in the "promotion" area while Netia climbs into this zone and also Bianchi had a better 2nd period.
McCormick on the other hand couldn`t continue as strong as in January and drop from 1st to 6th.
The middle is really close and even though the top6 is having a small gap, the way down to 16th is then not far.
Only Eddie Stobart in the last position really struggling so far and in huge need to improve fast.

Holloway remains in the top spot after his early TdU success and adding points in Ras Tailteann. Pinot also remains consistent eventhough not as strong as in recent years maybe while Kwiatkowski made a bigjump with two good races. Also Nibali up to 5th with a good start late in his career.
Faiers remains up there as well but hasn`t raced a lot.
Moser so far best sprinter next to Holloway, Intxausti still strong but with less results and then Boivin and Krieger, who both are having pretty good seasons so far and beating Mohs so far point wise. Later only 5th best scoring sprinter at the moment despite high use of race days.
Maes and Van Keirsbulck then close for the fight of the best cobbler and Edmondson as best pure puncheur so far.
Some high quality riders still hide themselves a bit such as Chaves, Kiserlovski, Kasperkiewicz and so on but they can still improve and/or have not used a lot of race days.

Thanks for the update, did not expect to be number 1, but obviously we have used a lot of race days already so this might not last forever!

Despite a few average races, we've scored very well in quite a few races. Of course we're very happy to be sitting in 2nd but there is still a lot of work to do.
Nibali has overperformed relative to what would have been expected of him so I hope he keeps that going! Moser the best of the sprinters is somewhat surprising as he has been rather inconsistent. Costa, as mentioned, has been very average so far this season.
All in all, a very good month for us in the points scoring department. However, there is still much room for improvement and we really need to keep our PPRD up which is proving to be difficult for us and for others in C1 races.

Isn't the amateur teams normally part of this ranking?

Something I have to work on next.
Rankings are compiled different this season, which means new formulas needed.
At the moment the amateurs are not in the formulas yet but gong to edit this asap. |

A weak month, but kinda to be expected I guess. Thought we'd score some in Hong Kong, and a bit more in Catalunya, but nothing too crazy

NOTE THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL RESULT; JUST MY OWN INTEREST IN THE SITUATION versus USED RACE DAYS.
The system is very simple just points versus invested number of race days.
(a race of 5 days with 8 riders cost 40 days – 1 day races cost 2 days)
Team | Div. | Points | Race days | Points/d | Adastra - Hell Energy Cycling | CT | 230 | 216 | 1,06 | Azteca - NBCSN | CT | 395 | 368 | 1,07 | Bianchi - Campagnolo | CT | 277 | 318 | 0,87 | BNZ Cycling Team | CT | 273 | 376 | 0,73 | Centovalli - Fiat | CT | 159 | 224 | 0,71 | CYBEX Platinum | CT | 217 | 280 | 0,78 | DK Zalgiris | CT | 261 | 284 | 0,92 | Eddie Stobart | CT | 47 | 232 | 0,20 | Equinor Pro Cycling | CT | 189 | 254 | 0,74 | Euskaltel - Elior | CT | 533 | 288 | 1,85 | GCN ProTeam | CT | 454 | 312 | 1,46 | Glanbia Foods Cycling Project | CT | 152 | 304 | 0,50 | McCormick Pro Cycling | CT | 345 | 368 | 0,94 | NENT Racing p/b Hootsuite | CT | 626 | 373 | 1,68 | Netia - Vonin | CT | 417 | 208 | 2,00 | OMV Petrom-albania.al | CT | 196 | 296 | 0,66 | Tryg Insurance Cycling Team | CT | 262 | 320 | 0,82 |

Overall, below average month - the Hong Kong Challenge was one huge black hole with another miss in Juarez not helping

Slow month for Azteca, again with very little racing from Eastman or Chaves, a handful of races from our cobbled squad to try and scratch out a few points.

On the surface it doesn't look good - dropped from 1st to 6th and low pts per RD per Tamijo.
But Holloway days are the only ones that matter for us and he is running about 25 pts/day. If we he keeps that up the Ulriksen boys will be very happy managers at the end of the year. Nice to get some love from Manamalage in Denmark as well.

Well, we didn't have a lot of RDs - only Adastra and Netia had less according to Tamijo - and so the points were rather low. "Unfortunately", our two wins were "just" stage wins, we're still waiting for good results in one-day races.
What doesn't give us too high hopes is that riders like Pellaud (good on the hills, bad in the mountains) and Signorini (good climber, bad stamina) seem to suffer quite much from the switch PCM 15 -> PCM 18. On the other hand, Guillén has already shown that he could rock some C2 races, and Cissé is a big plus so far, too. For a development team, I guess we're doing quite well

First update for the amateur class and they feature the first official PpRD/projected rankings, which are also finished for the other divisions, so #3 updates will have those as in recent years.
The amateurs are between 9 and 26 race days so far and one team really did shine so far.
La Vie Clair is the first to top 100 points while most are not even at their half. Only Signal Iduna and Kofola are 50+ while VIP Mobile is on tiny 1 scoring point, to be fair on them on smallest amount of race days so far.
Checking for the valuable races so far.
Vuelta al Tachira had quite a few. 28 for Signal Iduna, 14 WCC and 12 for Kofola for example. 5 only for La Vie Claire actually.
TdU saw the home team Jayco scoring 10 points, which is decent really, mainly in the KoM hunt.
Viana Castelo had 26 for Festina and 12 for Adriatic, similar scorings for La Vie Claire in Hong Kong, Evonik in De Panne, Kofola/Adriatic in Roma Maxima and various teams in Juarez.
So where are the huge LVC points are coming from?
Actually from Catalunya. 75 points is CT or even PCT worthy really alongside 33 for Repsol!
Twice a 2nd in stage results, another 3 top5 performances, being runner up in the KoM competition and 15th in the GC is huge for an amateur team.

Huge Catalunya for LVC, but we still look like contenders with some breakaway magic and depth Going to be tough though as our schedule isn't great really and already a fair few RDs!
