Interesting reads I guess coordination is a big issue - in my cases it was while travelling and as I had contact with people before and knew where they lived it just appeared to be nice coincidences...

Feel free to send me an invite for the next one within reach, but I guess you probably don't want me around if Herklotz keeps doing these things to Spilak
Surprisingly Germany has not been on the list, yet though it would be the obvious choice (well, looking at the fact that Copenhagen is almost closer to my place than Berlin maybe Denmark would make more sense even ) just hit me up when you're around in the cold north

Would have loved to meet Abhi when I was once in India, alas.. Croatia, I will be on business trip in Copenhagen end of January. Perhaps that is a chance. Other than that, since I live in Paris now, I will probably be around the Champs Elysses come the final stage of TdF fyi

Would've loved to meet as well but I couldn't make the trip to the capital, and like people from the US pointed out, it's a big country No excuses though, was as good a chance as any I'll get to meet anyone from the site!

I just recently moved from Hamburg down to Bavaria, but I'm back home every once in a while so if the timing is right, I'd be interested to join as well Maybe the Cyclassics could be an occasion. And if someone happens to be around in the slightly less cold south, feel free to get in touch

I don't know what's tougher: Moving from Innsbruck to Paris or moving from Hamburg to Bavaria.

True that
@cunego: the Cyclassics were the first time I ever road my bike in a "race", and I already signed up for the 2020 edition...so if you'll be there that's a good opportunity, I'm surely there from the morning when my race starts to the pro race in the evening, where I'm usually standing on top of the Waseberg...
@Shonak: January doesn't seem too bad but I plan to visit a friend in Paris in late January, maybe that's the even better opportunity

Has the forum died enough where we aren't even going to proceed with awards this year?

They were saved by a miracle last year, I never had much hope for this year.

I did not either but figured it was one of the last traditions still alive here

I always have time on my hands
I don't have administrative powers to make news posts, organize a new folder to make posts in, and create polls with hidden results

I'm not sure how we can expect activity or events when over half of our admins haven't been on the site this decade.

Sadly this is not possible with the SuperAdmins away atm. I'm sure stuff happens as soon as they're back

Can the PM nominations maybe start already? Isn't it just mostly copy/pasting last year's stuff? Let's spam Roturn's inbox!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

We need the Awards 2019 topic before we can start writing threads in it |

Who needs voting for that anyway? I still have the templates for the award signature banners from last year. I can decide winners and post them in this thread. No superadmins needed

Can we make up an award so that I have a chance at winning something? I've been on this site for years and I think I've come close to 2 awards ever, best avatar one year and then I would've won newcomer but had joined a few weeks too early iirc.
Something like "Least Productive member of all time"
