Such randomness. Pretty brutal to be sitting in 24th, but then if Ahlstrand and Degenkolb struggle to find a top10 I can't complain much. Sprints are going to be nightmare this year I guess.
Thanks for the reports Tamijo!

Nice job by Ciolek, this race is all about consistency. If he can get another top 5 result on the last stage then we should get a nice points haul from this race.
Congrats to Holloway on another great win

Slipstream OP. The worst position will be the best.
Holloway extra OP. Congrats on winning the CT ranking.

8th is an improvement but still not what we were hoping GC wise. The support staff have disappointed too.

Maybe I should've just stuck with Drapac as lead sprinter, at least he has some acceleration.

Holloway definitely earning his money.
Give me a chaotic sprint every time. That was the kind of finish I was hoping for on Stage 1. Lots of bumps on Stage 3, wouldn't be surprised to see a late attack win. Hopefully Holloway can do well enough to stay up front.
I fear at the continental level it will fall to McCormick to hold the peloton together and we will fail and the chaos will work against us.
Generally I like PCM18 AI but beyond about 150km the sprints get too messy too easily. Although it is working for me in Man game.

Did some testing at this, and the messy sprints comes from sharp curves within the last say 4-5 km, so it can be fixed, making much better sprints with more and better trains.
Not saying it will necessarily change results much, can still easily see outsiders with better daily form and positioning, but it will clean it up a lot for next season.

Moser not making the Top 20 in the first stage or the Top 50 in this one is not ideal, especially given he was in the leading group there in Stage 2.

Ok, that 2nd place by Ahlstrand saves the race a little but only 7th in GC is to bad...
Even worse for Iberia, beagle
Thanks for reports |

Top 20 in GC. Gunman showed his face in the final stage for a top 15. Not great but at least Gunman did his best.
Congrats to the winner and thanks for the reports!

Congratz to DaveTwoBob and others who got more than what they would expect.
Sad to see Degenkolb perform so far from what he deserves, hope your luck changes soon beagle
Can't complaint with a stage 2nd and Kris Boeckmans 4th in GC.
Hope it is based on a good combo of sprint/acc and decent flat/resistance, not just random fitness luck.

Nice to get a stagewin, but the results on the last two stages were very poor. Sixth in the GC is disappointing after the start we had.
Thanks for the reports, Tamijo!

7th is the worst stage result in the race, but enough to retain 2nd in GC and even get the points jersey Very good race for Ciolek and we needed it, after two bad races from the team before hand.
Congrats to DaveTwoBob, worked the last stage perfectly
Thanks for the reports, Tamijo

Thanks Tamijo for the reports, congrats Kraftwerk.
From our perspective, the less said about this race, the better

No last stage magic for Holloway like in TDU but at this level a stage win and 5th is a nice return.
Thanks for the reports and congrats to Kraftwerk, a deserved win after dominating that last sprint.

Not as good as the first version, Missing the top 10 3 times means bad GC and no youth jersey for Gaviria. Thanks for the reports!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

It is a pity that Kupfernagel was unable to maintain the lead. Still this was a very positive race with two stage podiuns and third overall.
Undoubtedly one of the best races of the team so far, kupfernagel seems to love the air of Ireland.
Congrats to Kraftwerk and thanks for the reports.

I second what Tamijo mentioned earlier, the messy sprints do make for a nice viewer experience (and are not entirely unrealistic in general), but should probably be looked at going forward considering pprd/pp1k€ is THE metric in the MG.
I think I did mention before the edition switch that we'd have to be very careful with twisty last ~10km with PCM18. Not only does the "new" cornering help breakaways maintain their lead slightly too easily, especially when it comes to the sprint, the slowing down in corners helps the leading riders way too much by replenishing their bars beyond realism, evidence being Willwohl here.
It gets even worse for 1.5km sprints, where things can get rather horrible when there's no real sprint preparation. TBH we should just avoid corners in those at all costs.
Glad to see Ciolek up there though!
