What do you mean we aren't supposed to sign a leader for each terrain and then fill the rest of the squad with talents, how else are you supposed to do this?
What are leaders? I want all talents

Last year's draft was dominated by experienced riders in the early stages, but here is is 2 for 2 on 1997 riders. Glanbia Foods Cycling Project have selected Nicholas White. |

Torjus Sleen - who?
No, I hear this kid could be a decent stage race domestique once he matures, or maybe a bit of a TT-specialist. Only time well tell!

Is it bad I had to look into the DB to know who these picks were?

Nicholas White - who????
Our extensive scouting network suggested this kid shows some promise, but potentially is already close to his maximum ability (Potential 2 ). He's young though, lets give him a chance to find his feet before we consign him to the rubbish heap!

Now here is a rider who knows all about the draft. Three teams made him first choice last year, three teams made him first choice this year. Marco Guillen is back in the game, and signs for Centovalli – Fiat. So how did his season end up going last year? Well he took Swisslion's first ever victory in Langkawi, finished 2nd in a HC stage, and took 4th overall in the Course de Solidarnosc. That helped him to 52nd in the Invidual Rankings with 151 points. So yeh, it went alright!

So it's Guillen for us. We know he has a lot of awful stats, but we couldn't resist... It's likely going to be a one-season contract, though. |

A good season did not reward Guillen with a professional contract and now he has to spend another season between the zero wagers again

Good pickup there, he has MG pedigree already and should get you some nice results, just got to hope his low stats don't impact consistency too badly.

The first picks had the opportunity to scoop up the best of the unsigned bunch. They've decided to stick to their principles and bet on the future.
Now however we see the more expected outcomes early in the draft - over 150 CT points last season, Guillen is a sound investment (if spending 0 Euros can be considered 'investment'. Top rated rider by MGUCI unsigned, probably disappointed not to be firt pick!

Guillen is a good pick for the draft... I do like the other two people went for talents
