The first 10 nations in today's race gain an additional spot in the Tokio TT next year, and Roglic only missed out on that by 13 seconds.
So surely even three minutes down, there was still a reason to finish as fast as possible.

Most importantly: today proved that all my PCM careers with Remco where he got medals in this TT weren't unrealistic!
