Miserable day today for the U23 Men and Women. Opted for a finish line position for now, for sort real life MG scouting.

I've already started to figure out how to best put Bissegger in the game next season, so that would be an interesting target.
Enjoy your day regardless!

Welllll, Price-Pejtersen just took a full bath, and if that stretch gets any worse, they might have to stop this and reschedule.
Yeah, there's another part of the road that is entirely under water now as well.

McNulty minus the puddle would've beaten Garrison.

They're considering moving the women TT to tomorrow.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

He was barely peddling when he eventually finished, looked pretty dejected.

Evenepoel is going to slip and slide faster than the bike ever could. And win. Period.

Who is this girl who just gave over a minute on Van Der Breggen and nearly two on Van Vleuten? |

Dygert has almost single handedly been winning USA Team Pursuit titles on the track in the last couple of years.
And now road cycling knows who she is too!

So the Men's U23 Time Trial was wet.
Price-Petjersen did not enjoy it.
Mikkel Bjerg won Gold, again.
USA completed the podium with Ian Garrison and Brandon McNulty

Some very nice photos (for an old guy in an orange rain mack). Looks like good old fashioned, god's own county weather.
Saw that men's junior TT win. After the mechanical off the start ramp and losing some 20-30 seconds that was remarkably composed maturity to hold it together and come back to win

Ya'll probably saw this, but the ITT's have been mad. Juniors winners had bike swaps and wrong turns, and today rain got insane insane crashes (I can only put one tweet but there's more).

Indeed, the two Junior gold medallists both having incidents, and the man to have beaten Bjerg twice in notable TTs this year goes swimming and finishes last.
For the Women's TT, I found an ideal spot, which I'd likely try to go if if I were staying in Yorkshire for the road races. Inside the final 300 metres, with a main view down at the last uphill of the lap, and the ability to look left and see the entire remainder of the finish straight. Made for a number of good photos for the Women anyway, with my album having my best picture for each rider in: https://www.flickr.com/photos/sumofma...1052935113
The one of Alice Barnes is my favourite.
It was also fun watching Van der Breggen and Longo Borghini sprint up side by side.
But it was of course all about Dygert.

Dygert, who was quicker than 48 of the 59 U23 Men #boss And the biggest winning margin of any Elite ITT WC since they began in 1994 #boss Chloe's a goddamn monster, I just wish she'd be more consistent in her performances as she is supremely talented and her palmares should already be healthy rather than a few stand out rides

Hodeg wins Münsterland Giro, his leadout swerved into Walscheid's path after doing his job, causing himself and multiple riders behind to crash.
Cue the TV interview with Walscheid a few minutes later, the angry DQS rider shouts "hey you!", punches Walscheid on the helmet and nearly starts a full brawl on live TV. What a fucking idiot.
