Yay!
This was a good way to bookend what has otherwise been a pretty bad velogames season for me, with plenty of bad performances and multiple missed competitions. I've been way too busy and some competitions popup with very small margins before the deadline passes.
It's always the spring that takes me down, there's just so many competitions packed so tightly together. I inevitably end up missing some deadline or performing really badly, then I lose motivation and it just keeps going like that.
Either way, I'm happy with my repeat win of the overall for the ToB, after having won the 2014 ToB as well. Apparently I have a knack for this race.

Cobgrats to the two winners, esp Lord di Lego for his overall win. I'll try to get the tables updated in the next couple of days.
For me the TOB was a disaster. As others have said I didn't really have time to properly look at the course or the form of the riders so I just picked a team based on names I knew, which didn't work at all.
At the Vuelta I finished 10th, but it could have been so much better if Uran hadn't crashed out early. He earned me approx 200 points, but if you consider Majka scored just under 1000 (and I reckon Uran could have finished in a similar position) that's about 700-800 points lost. If you add that to my score I would be around 8500 which would have put me in the top 3.
Oh the joys of Velogames

League Table Updated.
The biggest winner over the last week has been Ian, who picked up top 3's in both the Vuelta and the ToB to move back into Second overall and close the gap to ember to 29 points. Still a lot of work to do to catch ember with only the Autumn Classics game to play.
Clamel remains in 3rd, Freitas 4th and myself 5th.
Congrats to Lord di Lego on our 2nd overall race win of the season, and to Jota for his maiden individual race win.

Lots of races this weeks and my congrat to additional two winners
Biggest cheer to Lego for his overall win of course.
Our league has run away with some wins now and it's by no doubt the toughest league to fight in. My own third place for now might even be in jeopardy since the hounds are gathering and aiming for my heels. The podium spot is not sure yet, but the two gents on top will be impossible to reach.
Question if this Autumn is the last race or will George pop in another Lady race.
I wouldn't mind that Toujours la femme.
Heck, ember got a good run in Autumn Classic too, chasing Timo for the lead.
The picks in that difficult fight will be hard and crucial for those remaining classics. It could turn very much in Autumn Classic with so many races left.

The points don't appear to have been updated after the Montreal GP as of yet. No startlist for the Primus Classic available either. Hopefully it'll be up fairly soon given that the next race is Saturday.

Points for Montreal are up but only 3 teams have confirmed so far for Primus. Likely to be one of those last minute races given the small scale.

Really? Mine still has the GP de Quebec highlighted, and when I select visit team it shows the Quebec roster. When I click the GP de Montreal nothing happens. My points table is still showing the points I earned in Quebec i.e. Matthews with 125 points.
Hopefully it's sort itself out in good time for Saturday.

Weird. My own team and yours shows Montreal points for me. Maybe it's displaying a cached page for some reason, perhaps clearing settings will do the trick :/

Had no idea this Primus Classic took part of the calendar, oh well... team ready for the Worlds anyway, perhaps might change a rider or two but think I like it. |

The Autumn Classic is sure harder to sub in then Spring Classics.
All the switches from types of races makes it a guessing game.
I for one liked the new version of Spring Classic better. It was less demanding to pick and plan ahead, even if the "structure" in Spring was more predictable than this Autumn.
The switches from the Canadian races to Primus, then Worlds, back to Sparkassen and then off to Italy is very confusing to plan who is in and not.

The Autumn Classics game has kind of run away from me with the short intervals between races and how busy I have been at home and work.
Think I've sorted myself out for the Milan Torino. Only two races to go after this one before the Autumn Classics game is finalised and the 2019 season comes to an end.
No prizes for guessing who is currently leading the Autumn Classics game

I'll admit it looks promising for the Daily season championship title with only Lombardia left!
For the Autumn Classics game not so much, I think. Comparing my team to FreitasPCM's team, eventhough he's chasing 40 points behind, I think it's fair to assume he'll do better in Lombardia. Our teams are identical, except for Ulissi for me (+ 2 non-starters) vs. Ciccone and Majka (+ 1 non-starter) for him. Sounds like at least 40 points in his favour |

I’ll have to admit trying to fit Valverde and benefit from your zero transfers is giving me headaches. This if he can really outperform everyone. Nonetheless, got nothing to loose so let’s race. |

I'm currently 10th in the league, about 300 points behind 9th and about 350 points ahead of 11th. Probably not going to move anywhere.
Quite happy with my final team. More by luck than judgement have managed to finish with 11 of my 12 riders racing in Lombardy so should manage to get someone into the top 2 or 3.
Good luck everyone.
I'll try to get the final table up at some point early next week.

I'm swiftly turning into Sagan of yesteryear, racking up the 2nd places - 2nd last year in PCM, currently 2nd this year in PCM and sitting 2nd in the Velogames site season competition too.
The only possible change seems to be to lose the second in PCM this year, nothing doing with Ember so far ahead and even worse in the Velogames season league - first is a couple of thousand points ahead there!

Found the Autumn Classics too hard to follow so will probably be giving them a miss unless the calendar is slimmed down a bit.
Happy if I manage a top 25 with such top quality opposition.
