So the first World Cup race is upon us. As an European and with a lot of geo-restriction involved at this point I don't even know when exactly is race, but with WVA and MVDP out of the picture for now we will get a great battle, with Aerts, Hermans, Vanthourenhout and Sweeck. Maybe Iserbyt too? Haven't heard if he's racing Elite too.
Also Pidckock and Nieuwenhuis, don't know when they'll be joining in the fun, so just ramble about this as some TDF winner will come out of here eventually right

Yeah quickly caught up with that, very impressive, and Pauwels dominating.

On thursday we had a really good duel on the Koppenbergcross. Pidcock came really close but couldn't defeat Iserbyt in the end. Today we will see Mathieu return to the field in Ruddervoorde, I'm expecting a dominating win already.

So quiet these days, seems like all the cyclocross fans have left the forum
Mathieu is back and winning but it seems he can be beaten. Toon Aerts defeated him decisively in Namur, but he's cracked a rib last week and won't be riding everything the next few weeks. Wout also made his comback and finished 5th in his first race. Could be an exciting january!

I have actually missed those comments but I am indeed here But indeed CX interest isn't as big, and me I've mostly had all my chitchat on Twitter.
Still it was a great season, from Iserbyt's revelation, Aert's re-rise to the top and posterior horrible crash but still winning the World Cup, having Sweeck win the NC's, van Aert back just in time, Stybar making the middle of the pack interesting to watch, etc
Women's race has been incredible and today was an appropriate climax, the finish was a brilliant moment in cycling and Alvarado deserved it so much!
Tomorrow is perhaps the end of the season so to say, VDP has a suiting route, Aerts and Iserbyt may have to work together at some point to be able to deny him an almost easy win according to logic.
I URGE everyone to rewatch the women's race and to tune in live tomorrow, guarranteed amazing show

Awful conditions today, and it'll only get worse by the time the Elite race starts.
Marco Brenner finished 6th in the Juniors race as a part-time rider in his third best cycling discipline. And after a really bad start too.

Thibau Nys (son of Sven) wins the Juniors race. If we follow the logic that Mathieu is better than Adrie, this could be a great rider as well.

There's also talk of cancelling the elites race, as it could be a full storm by the time they are to start.

followed all season..It has been great.
Matthew own league..Alvorado getting better and better, now she also learned how to sprint (or how suffer longer when sprinting).
Poor Nys son..so much pressure to be as father.
Great was to see road guys at winter to make some cyclo races. |
