Table has been updated following Women's Tour of Norway.
Clamel did exactly what he needs to do to catch Ember. He won the game and picked up 10 bonus points. Unfortunately Ember finished second and also picked up 10 bonus points so Clamel has only made up 1 point. At least he has re-overtaken Ian Russell to move back into second overall.
Currently at the Vuelta Ian is looking in the strongest position with Ember and Clamel both outside the top 25 at this early stage.
However, this is reversed at the Autumn Classics game where Clamel just leads ember with Ian a few places further back.
Plenty of time to go in both races.

Walscheid getting disqualified in that sprint is not great for my team.

First proper uphill finish today will be the real indicator of how most peoples teams will fair over the 3 weeks. I've been quite happy with my big riders so far. Jakobsen picked up the win yesterday and I've got MAL, Roglic, Uran, Higuita and Pogacar to hopefully do something in the GC. Could even get all 5 in the top 10 based o the early days form.
Plenty of time for that to all go horribly wrong though

Thanks mate. I guess I will now be forced to "vote" for having the Ladies to remain as it is. My second win with them, so is it pure luck or do I actually know something about them ???
Don't take the joy away from winning Ringo. I know ember is sniffing right behind even if one do manage to take a race win. I got two impossible experts to fight and it's an honour to even be a part of the fight for the crown.

Congratulations, clamel! Happy to keep my season championship for the women's races, and also the PCM Daily lead.
Though, the latter will change now with the Vuelta. My team is already completely busted with Kruijswijk over Valverde, no Superman, who everyone has, and TGH as a bad pick for an outsider, combined with budget sprinter Mezgec. To be honest, I'll be very surprised if I get among the top 25 in the Daily league for the Vuelta, which feels likely will also drop the overall lead.
At the very least, it will make for a very, very close overall standing after the Vuelta |

Hi All
I've been in deepest, darkest Wales for the last few days. I'll look to get the results of the Boels Ladies Tour updated ASAP.
Cheers

League Table has been updated.
Congrats to Clamel on his win at the Boels Ladies Tour. That's two ladies race wins in quick succession fro Clamel who seems to be turning into the Ladies Race Expert. I think the Manx Missile needs to watch out.
Clamel has moved 25 points clear on Ian Russel in 3rd and hasd made up a bit of ground on Ember, but still has over 50 points to make up. That could all change after La Vuelta where Ian is currently sitting in 4th with Clamel and Ember both struggling to make the top 25.
In other news Freitas maintains his 4th place (we're going to start calling him Arsenal) and I have made a huge leap up the leaderboard to sit in 5th overall.

Congratulations on the Boels win, Clamel!
A pity Boels turned out to be as unpredictable as it was, as it opened the door for many teams considering the women's season championship. Thought my lead going into Boels was promising, but seeing Majerus and especially Peters be the heavyhitters at the Boels team, I knew it would be difficult.
Kind of not satisfying to miss out on the season championship win when I was leading from early on (after the Giro Rosa), but I guess I can't be too disappointed with third place overall. Though, a third place after coming from behind is definitely different compared to a third place after having held the lead
Seeing the Velogames' Twitter account, it seems like there will be another opportunity next year, where he announced he'll add more women races to the calendar as well.
Four the Daily Championship, that's indeed to be thrown wide open come Sunday and the end of the Vuelta. As said previously, the only thing for certain, is that we'll have another very close finish another season |

Well done Clamel on the win and Ember on the overall podium. Overestimated the route difficulty here and still not cutting it in the women's races.
Thanks for the update Ringo, getting right up there yourself now too!

Thanks mates,
Really surprised winning two lady races in succession. I got my 6th race win and that's nice.
3 of them is women races. Is that a proof that luck plays a big part.
yes the finish will be cool but ember will be out of reach I think.
My Vuelta has gone terrible wrong, watching riders I scratched and subbed the last minutes doing good. Higuita, Pogacar for sure and even played with the idea having Hagen. Get pissed off watching it all on TV.
Not doing too good in Britain either. That was no unlucky picks, since I should have gone with more sprinters and checked the parcour better. It's vital to get those top 5 in the stages to build up points.
The Autumn Classic can swing hard when we now get new types of races, followed by WC and the Italian races. Who to transfer and who not. It will be very crucial I think for this leaderboard.

The strength in this league is crazy.
I thought my Britain team was excellent just to find out that while being 3rd in the league, it`s almost 600 points to the leader. Then again being in front of ember seems to be a rare thing I guess. |

Can’t match you guys, had no chance to assess ToB route so I just scrambled some guys there. Let’s see how this will leave me in the leaderboard but hopefully I can pick up form for next year. |
