The CT ranking was mainly about the spots 4th - 7th as the top3 looked safe and there is no relegation.
This made Swisslion and Andorra being under pressure to keep their promotion spot with ENI MOL and Banco Bogota being close. Outside chances only for Sauber.
What to say, Delvaux as 2nd best team dominantly defend their CT win while Campari as best scoring team did all to get their tiny, tiny outside chance of promotion. None of the other teams really scored a lot, so things need to be checked closer.
| | Team | Zuri Mez | | 1 | | Campari - Super Dry | 105 | | 2 | | Delvaux | 104 | | 3 | | DK Žalgiris | 42 | | 4 | | Valio - DeLaval | 37 | | 5 | | Team Cerveceria Costa Rica | 30 | | 6 | | Compal-Merida | 25 | | 7 | | Swisslion Cycling Team | 21 | | 8 | | ENI - MOL | 14 | | 9 | | Equinor Pro Cycling | 11 | | 10 | | Sauber Petronas Racing | 10 | | 11 | | BNZ Cycling Team | 6 | | 12 | | GCN ProTeam | 5 | | 13 | | Eddie Stobart | 3 | | 14 | | Telia-Brussels Airlines | 2 | | 15 | | Oberfranken | 1 | | 16 | | Andorra Project - InGamba | 0 | | 17 | | Banco de Bogota | 0 | | 18 | | Rothaus - Aegon | 0 | | 19 | | Adastra - Argon 18 | 0 |
As said Delvaux dominated the ranking with riders such as Guarnieri, Breen, Vichot, Van der Haar or Kadri plus Favilli or Kreder. Incredible to get such quality and depth into one CT budget!
PCT relegated team Valio around Gautier came closest and also topped the 2000 point mark.
Compal, Siwsslion and Andorra all go up as well for sure.
The unlucky 6th goes to ENI Mol with just 35 points behind the promotion line. Though it might be a good place to be in for sure as the number of promotions regularly is longer than the top5. So chances are there and also Banco Bogota, Campari and Sauber in previous years could have hoped. The only top10 switch with Campari passing Sauber could really be vital.
At the bottom DK Zalgiris had a strong finisher but still lost out by far. Equinor, BNZ, Telia and Eddie Stobart as bottom 5 teams as well.
| | | Team | Total | PpRD | | 1 | 1 | | Delvaux | 2591 | 17,27 | | 2 | 2 | | Valio - DeLaval | 2184 | 14,56 | | 3 | 3 | | Compal-Merida | 1854 | 12,36 | | 4 | 4 | | Swisslion Cycling Team | 1691 | 11,35 | | 5 | 5 | | Andorra Project - InGamba | 1661 | 11,15 | | 6 | 6 | | ENI - MOL | 1626 | 10,91 | | 7 | 7 | | Banco de Bogota | 1579 | 10,6 | | 8 | 9 | | Campari - Super Dry | 1553 | 10,35 | | 9 | 8 | | Sauber Petronas Racing | 1532 | 10,21 | | 10 | 10 | | Team Cerveceria Costa Rica | 1414 | 9,49 | | 11 | 11 | | GCN ProTeam | 1340 | 8,93 | | 12 | 12 | | Rothaus - Aegon | 1291 | 8,61 | | 13 | 13 | | Adastra - Argon 18 | 1062 | 7,08 | | 14 | 14 | | Oberfranken | 992 | 6,61 | | 15 | 15 | | Eddie Stobart | 974 | 6,49 | | 16 | 16 | | Telia-Brussels Airlines | 889 | 5,97 | | 17 | 17 | | BNZ Cycling Team | 863 | 5,75 | | 18 | 18 | | Equinor Pro Cycling | 737 | 4,91 | | 19 | 19 | | DK Žalgiris | 635 | 4,26 |

It was close but in the end Valio takes the individual crown as Gautier`s points in Zuri Metzgete made the difference. 6 points ahead of Guarnieri only though!
And also just 6 points for Kiserlovski behind in 3rd! Very close podium here.
Suaza in 4th ahead of König and Meyer all with 600+ points as well.
Ben Nasser, Di Maggio, Breen and Pinot all with 500+ and deserve their top10 really. In especially Di Maggio was in better form again while Pinot lost the for of best stage racer surprisingly.

As i thought we havent made to the 5th spot, altough after the hill in Zurich i hoped for a minute, when Di Maggio was in the first three. But then the trio stopped working and we faile both of the race top5 goal and the rankings top5 goal
But thats it, it was a good second part of the season, with ups and downs.
Thanks for all the organisers and reporters and congrats to the promotion teams (but hoping to plus places) |

Fun trivia fact: only two teams have managed to have all of their riders score points - Swisslion Cycling Team and Adastra - Argon 18. Not sure if this applies to the entire ManGame.

Happy that Gautier managed to take the top spot with König inside top 5 as well.
Division title out of reach due to our sprint train not working (still Manninen is 16th in the rankings though) and a clear lack of points from especially Kulppi and Pökälä.
Looking forward to another year in PCT, likely keeping most of my core-riders on board while reshuffling a bit.
Also only riders not scoring points are the stagiares so that's nice as well!

What a cool class of promoters, very happy in particular to see Valio (and Compal) back where they belong, Andorra's turnaround and the awesome teams of Delvaux and Swisslion go straight up Campari with an encouraging showing, I don't think we'll see disbands enough but if they do then I look forward to them in the PCT. If not, they've got a great shot next year with just one or two changes!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Swisskion! What an amazing season they had! Main captains Reus and Martin underperforming heavily, but the balcan guys, Especially Zhupa and Isostar Alumni Brajkovic and Pibernik, once more do the magic and pull Swisskion into PCT

Congratulations Delvaux! Glad Hodeg could contribute to the win with two points, first Minion ever to win a division title . You and the other promotion teams have a good base to build upon next season. Valio and Compal bouncing back, Swisslion and Andorra going up for the first time and maybe some other teams. As for the teams failing to make promotion, it took me three years so there's still hope for you!

Feels great to win the CT on the first attempt!
We started out semi-slow, but improved gradually as the season progressed. Towards the final few months, we were outstanding in almost every race. Took a chance totally ignoring mountains and time trials, meaning we had to ride a lot of HC and C1 races (probably more than all other CT teams). That paid off in the end though, with some great performances from Guarnieri in particular, but also Kadri and Breen. Guarnieri wasn't so great in C2 and C2HC races, which in the end meant we only won two races this season, but fortunately we had fantastic depth scoring on the cobbles and in the hills. Kadri, Breen, Vichot and van der Haar have all been fantastic in that regard, with Kreder, Korzh and Favilli also occasionally putting in good performances. My personal goal was to finish the season with a PPRD of >12, so to achieve >17 speaks volumes of everyone's performances.
Looking forward to race in the PCT now with the other promotees. We'll need a bit of a rebuild to achieve back-to-back promotion, but hope to re-sign at least a few of our riders.
Thanks to the managers that loaned us riders, they were all crucial to our performances this season. Thanks also to all the reporters for your hard work, and congrats to the other managers promoting

Well we achieved over 10pprd which is nice and our highest scoring riders are good to come back and repeat the same performance again.
The drop between what Gabby scored and what Wahyudi/Zoidl scored is too high though, we really need to upgrade a couple of riders for more solid scoring on the other terrains if we want to promote next season.
Congrats to Sykkel Freak on winning the division and the rest of the top 5 on their promotion.

Best feeling I've ever had in MG! Our debut season had Rujano winning literally one of our first race days but the rest of the season was a kick in the nuts when it came to coming back to reality.
This season I knew what to go for, I knew who I had to get and transfer season was so much fun, although I was a bit disapointed in missing out some of the riders that turned out great scorers by other teams I had to go for Warbasse, who despite not being great held on. Mottin was brilliant this season winning Windhoek was absolutely crucial for us, various ocasional great performances by some of the lesser riders in the team.
Transfer season was still quite a shock to the system, on the negative side I had to give up on Flaksis due to a dumb math mistake, but in came Oliver Naesen from the Minions and he was a pleasant surprise this season. But mainly from Kraftwerk from which came in Kiserlovski and Hirchlein from a golden deal and it was the best transfer I could've hoped for. Kiserlovski was the top scorer from the climbers, so consistent throughout the season, he's unlikely to stay with the team next season but he will always have a spot in our hearts
The season started of so well, if I recall we were in the lead at one point, and I knew this latter part of the season was gonna be hard but the vertiginous downfall in this final set of weeks was scary and I was legitimately expecting to loose the Top5. But keeping it, assuring promotion is such a good feeling, an opportunity to re-set the team, to focus on our goals properly and start to develop our (hopefully) emerging talent.
Thanks for all the congratz, congratz also to those who I have the pleasure to move up with and thank you for all the reporters who have taken their time this season to make all of this happen

Very impressive season by Delvaux in particular. We're happy to follow them up to the PCT and battle it out with Valio, Swisslion and Andorra as well, it's gonna be great to be back and there are big plans ahead for this team! |
