What sorta brain fart let Wiggo comment lol

No Pogacar, no party.
Does anyone remember when Rui Costa used to do what Trentin did today? Yeah those were the days.
Or when Sergio Henao won Paris Nice against Contador. How did that ever happen?

Or when Kristoff or Gaviria were relevant? Or Martin could climb and punch with the best? Or Aru could climb?
Awful team, awful preparation. |

Hmmmmmm so the French organisers if the French race have removed the two strongest donestiques of the two strongest ( none French) competitors, for handbags, the day before the 3 toughest and most important stages of the race, while a French rider sits in yellow and another French rider seems to be pretty strong in the mountains. Yeah, that seems perfectly legit.

This is a UCI jury decision, and I don't think there are any french in the UCI jury.

Either way, it seems very convenient to me. You see comings together like that in every cycling stage that has ever been raced.
I would be willing to bet my life savings (which isn't too much I accept) that if that had been Enric Mas and David Gaudu coming together they would not have been expelled for the same incident.

Well your Avatar is of Angel Lopez punching a fan and facing no punishment from the UCI so i kind of rest my case.

Yes, because it's exactly the same thing with a rider being angry at a idiotic fan who almost ruined his race. Also that's not a punch. You might want to look what a punch actually looks like.
Plus if they make mistakes should they continue making mistakes because they made a mistake that one time?
Rowe starts bullying Kruijswijk and makes him go into the middle of the group and puts in danger his 3 weeks work as well as the riders behind Kruijswijk.
Then we have Martin putting Rowe in physical danger which was a blatant intentional move which would be a clear disqualification in any sprint.
Then we have the most idiotic thing of all when Rowe forgets what sport he is in.
So, please tell me why these riders should not be thrown out of the race for blatant unsportsmanlike behavior.

No, I'm holding it against the UCI/organisers who didn't punish Lopez because it was a human reaction in the heat of the moment, yet they ban two riders for a cycling incident on the hottest day of the year for something much less serious.
Neither rider or team has accused the other of doing anything wrong, because nothing actually happened. Rowe tried to pass Martin and Martin blocked him. It happens literally every 5 minutes in the professional peloton.
Does anyone on this forum honestly believe that both Martin and Rowe deserved to be kicked out of the Tour for what happened yesterday?

Well Rowe did punch Martin, not sure that happens every five minutes. Hm.

That avatar isn't the whole incident. He strikes the fan twice and then knocks off his hat.
Rowe bullies Kruijswijk? You mean he does his job of making it uncomfortable for another team leader and Martin does his job to try to protect his leader?
The whole incident was a cycling incident that happens every 5 mins in the peloton. If you believe that both riders deserve to be banned for that then there will be riders banned every stage of every race. It's pathetic.
Neither team nor rider made any kind of complaint over the incident and no other teams/riders were in any way affected.
