Ewan looked strong but got boxed in. Viviani's positioning a joke as usual |

Nearly missed prediction time, I'll keep it brief:
1) Mike Teunissen to take his first WT win in a bunch sprint
2) Mike Teunissen to wear the yellow jersey
3) Lots of people to crash in the TdF crash lottery

Yeah 2 of the 3 were a joke tbh.

Really nice of Laporte to generously drop off the face of the Earth from prime position when he realised Teunissen was about to win, such a special gift to a less experienced rider.

Yeah 17km, hurt elbow and cut face but got back to the pack well outside 3km. Hope he’s ok.
Teunissen amazing, him and Wout doing that with their sprinter our (and leader down) is something special. Everyone watching the big screen in Belgium thought it was Wout sprinting for a long time

Nice win by Teunissen, great progress he made this year.
Fuglsang looked more bloodied and shocked than really injured, so I hope he's ok for tomorrow.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I was expecting Teunissen to step up and do some good sprints in the stages where Groenewegen wouldn't be able to but this is next level.

Funny how people can look at things differently. In my view Ewan boxed Viviani from 3rd position only to throw himself into an impossible position to sprint for the victory. IMO he was all over the road in the final, and could have caused massive havoc.

First GC contender that's out of contention is Buchmann noticed he finisihed more than 4+ mins behind, so will probably just be going for stages now.

According to PCS he's noted at 00:00 rolling in together with Bennett...
Only riders losing time:
Stephane Rossetto 3'06"
Toms Skujins 3'32"
Elie Gesbert 4'11"
Dries Devenyns 4'11"
Jonathan Castroviejo 4'11"
Lukas Pöstlberger 4'36"

Ah yes, it makes sense now because that crash was in the final 3km

Trek-Segafredo CCC Team, Katusha, FDJ very nice
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.
