Speaking for myself, I don't like how the Workshop works in terms of updates and its limitations in modding the game. I like to have a Real Name DB as a model to shape my own DB from there onwards.

You can just edit/copy the db in the mod folder and thereby have your own. |

So is there a solution or is this a bug? Apparently there's a plus button to press somewhere, but I'll be damned if I can see it.

Only a day after release even if anyone put out a db outside of steam it would contain the exact same. Can't really expect much more than stat updates and real name fixes.

I had to use the editor and open the news section and there in the latest news change the place of the tick and put the number 2, and you can move forward in time. But I could not use the point for the contacts of interest, I would have to see if I can use them with the help of the editor |

you're wrong. maybe there are people who don't like steam's ecosystem, or that everything has to put via steam.

I played PCM a lot back 2010-2012 or so and then stopped for whatever reason. Last year got back into it with PCM 2018 and I really enjoyed the game. Of course the game hasn't progressed much in a lot of ways but the gameplay is quite enjoyable to me anyway.
The main thing that should get worked on imo is how the AI teams handle their training programs and race registration. A big reason for why the game can be "easy" is that the AI riders seem to rarely be in shape. In PCM 2018 at least my impression was that hard stages like high mountains or cobbled classics weren't easy at all if the top AI riders were in shape. However, especially in the Tour and the Vuelta it rarely seemed to be the case.
I got PCM 2019 in the hope that this was improved. Currently playing a career and curious to see how it goes after I get a bit further into the season. Rider registration in Omloop, Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico doesn't make me all that hopeful though.. |

Don't worry, your stages still work. 2017 and 2018 stages still work. They might look into more HD DEM files next year though so probably a switch in 2020. |
