Tamjo- No there is no more front sheet but for sure the next update will be after the Giro which will include all the Spring Classics.

Just thinking hard to comment on say Higuita, is 66 mountain in my game was just wondering if that was already fixed (but I can see you mentioned that he need an increase)

He's now 72 mtn and 76 hill which was before Amgen and even before Amgen was worth more than that imo.

Thanks - nice to know he was already upped.

Honestly hard to "set" those almost unknown riders, but 66 is crazy Smile

Would guess that he will turn out to be more climber than puncher with his 57 kg, but a bit early to say for sure.

I hope that you're making Ewan even more a sprinter who excels in slight uphill finishes, and in sprints after a long race, after his performances on Hatta Dam, MSR last year, and the giro stage yesterday. I'd say HI 71->73, END 75->76, ACC 82->81, REC 66->70, MO 63->62. However, I'm not sure on your current stats. Looking forward to the next update, nice work Smile

-Maybe stating Sivakov, Tao Hart, Haig and also Higuita at 77 MT. My doubt is Higuita(maybe 76) as I tought he was a puncher with a good sprint.
-Pogacar at 78 MT or maybe 79(maybe that's much). Also i would lower Henao MT and Hill to 77/78.
-As for Asgreen, he should have high RES, at least.
-Gaudu 77/78 MT.
-I think it would be better to wait, but maybe Carapaz shoud be on 79 MT with low RES, and lower Amador to 75 with high RES, as he seens to not climb as he did in 2015 and 2016.
-I would give 76 MT to Kangert, Spilak, Anacona and maybe Masnada. And also Jungels, has has one of the best RES in the game and good recovery.
-I would lower Alaphillipe MT to 75, while increasing is Hill and ACC. Also i would lower Rolland MT to 75.
-Evenepoel on 74/75 MT.
-Costa is a hard rider to stat. He seens to only climb good on Swiss races.
-Also I would be carefull giving MT stats to riders with high RES, for example, Fraile, Benoot, among others.

Exactly, Ewan is a pretty unique sprinter. He's in the top rank of sprinters but not the fastest but is the best when hills are involved and when the stage is long and hard but without being a power rider like Kristoff or Demare etc.

Also we have been dropping the hill stat of most sprinters because some are doing better on climbs than they should be due to their high res but Ewan is the best of these riders.

I see him as 79 sprint 82 acc (because he needs to get the jump on riders like Viviani and Bennett) 72 hill I'm looking at which is better than the other sprinters and a few other things like flat and res have been improving. Rec we don't know as he's never ridden beyond week two in a GT but a gradual increase is probably worth it

One of the main questions though is the Bora sprinters levelling at the moment I'm thinking:

Ackermann 80/80 had thought 81/79 but that would put him too much ahead of Bennett and I see the difference as probably only 1 sprint pount
Bennett 79/81 which I think looks right
Sagan 79/82 this of course is based purely on making Sagan always a contender for the green jersey at the Tour as possibly 78 sprint which he's more like at the moment but as we know he's a special rider that can always surprise.

The problem with the above stats is that Sagan is faster than Bennett which I don't think he is and would say that in terms of front end speed it's probably Ackermann, Bennett then Sagan

but would like to get some differing opinions on these three riders and their sprint suggestions from the community?

I agree Tafiolmo with Ackerman and Bennet, for Sagan I would give him 78/82

Its true that in Tour de France he would be 79, but the rest of the season he derseves 77/78, so I would give him 78 and if he rides in Tour de France in good form, he can beat Gaviria, Groenewegen, Viviani, etc...

Actually, I would buff Ackermann to 81/80 and Bennett to 80/81. They have both improved even more this year, and Bora just has three of the absolute top sprinters. Ackermann consistently beats top sprinters as Gaviria, Viviani, Demare and Ewan. I'm even thinking about 82/80 for him, but maybe 81/80 is fine for now, as he still lacks hill stat. Sagan at 79/82 looks good too.

This is another solution putting Ackermann 81 and Bennett 80 a point higher which keeps Sagan at 79.

JPGM- A lot of the riders you've mentioned amd their mtn stats are actually in the Giro so better to wait just a few days week etc to find out what they're really worth.

Carapaz though is already on 79 mtn as we did some pre Giro changes and Pogacar will be 78/77 and Higuita who I've been well informed is more of a puncheur could well be 76/77 with higher acc.

Asgreen in statting is looking like a big engine res rider which is probably accurate and yes you are correct to mention riders like Benoot and Fraile who may need some looking at with their good mtn and res combo (not so bad for Fraile but more of a problem for Benoot) as Benoot really seems to have creeped up but does surprise at mtn.

Anyway, this is draft one of the leading sprinters and imo looks good but as always there are room for changes. The stat in brackets is hill which does seem quite relevant now for sprinters. Note Ewan now has improved flat, res etc to make him stronger than the natural sprinters in longer harder races. Also there is room for playing with the stats like giving Ackermann 82/80 or 81-79 etc and hanging the other riders around this. Question is how good is his acc?

Groenewegen 81/82 (66)
Ackermann 81/80 (70)
Gaviria 80/82 (68)
Viviani 80/82 (69)
Bennett 80/81 (70)
Demare 80/78 (70)
Kristoff 80/77 (71)
Ewan 79/82 (72)
Sagan 79/82 (74)
Degenkolb 79/77 (70)
Greipel 79/76 (67)

Greipel is so hard to rate, he's really strong but sadly there's no positioning attribute

If Demare and Bennett are 70 HI, Ackermann should be at 69 at most. He has one of the highest RES which as what often brings him far enough to sprint on hillier stages. I'd put Kristoff on 70 aswell, he is strong enough otherwise to survive. Maybe Degenkolb at 78/77?

The rest looks nice.

I would've said Ackermann was surprisingly good on hills (but will look more into it) and his res is high at 77 but Demare is higher with 78. Most of these riders have a res of 76 to 78 with Kristoff the highest at 79. Yes there is still room for shifting hill stats for these riders

This is the final draft of what the sprint stats will be and there have been some changes since last posting and we have also decided to increase sprint stat to 82 which meant a few riders increased by a point. These are the leading sprinters 82-79. After sprint/acc stat are hill in brackets and then flat and res. These stats take into consideration contemporary sprint results but also back to last year’s Tour. Ewan was the hardest to stat as he looks like a natural sprinter but acts more like a power sprinter despite his small size. Tends to sprint from the front rather than acc from behind like Viviani (even though his last victory at Giro was an acc one) and tends to do well in harder finishes. We kept his acc higher than it really should be to give him an edge over higher rated sprinters.

Groenewegen 82/81 (66) 77/76
Gaviria 81/81 (68) 76/76
Ackermann 81/80 (70) 77/77
Viviani 80/82 (69) 76/76
Bennett 80/81 (70) 76/77
Demare 80/78 (69) 78/78
Kristoff 80/77 (70) 78/79
Ewan 79/82 (71) 76/77
Sagan 79/81 (74) 80/78
Jakobsen 79/81 (70) 75/75
Degenkolb 79/77 (69) 77/78
Greipel 79/76 (66) 77/76

They are being done and better to comment on this over the coming mtn stages of the Giro. But MA Lopez was put to 80 mtn (had he not had race problems would be in the hunt of overall victory) whereas Roglic is a tougher one to decide upon at moment between 79-80 due to high backups. A number of other climbers have been raised such as Sivakov etc but as stated best mentioned over the coming climbing stages.

Yes the last mountain stage ended yesterday!!! We should have the new DB today!!!

On topic, Alfdan De Decker from WGG seems to become a better sprinter, might want to keep an eye out for him.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
