League table update. Ember's mammoth score has catapulted him to the top of the leader board with 184 points. Incredibly it's his first individual race win since the start of PCm Velogames Championship.
Clamel is the nearest competitor with 165 and then there is a small group of chasers in the 140's and 130's.
Romandie is open for entries. Good luck all.

Congratulations to the winners of the Spring Classics games. The level in the PCM league is too high!!
I finished 129th out of 1700 in the Classics game and 92nd out of almost 5000 in the Main game and I only finished 5th in both leagues!!! |

Congrats, ember. Happy to take second behind you.
Only 6 points behind ianrussell at this point in the season is quite an achievement for me
Also, 12th overall might be my best result ever

Thank you all
And thank you ringo for the quick league update. Indeed as you write, it's my first ever Daily win in a single competition. Been very close quite a few times, but never won, making it even better now that it also resulted in the overall win and 50 bonus points too.
For the season championship I feel lucky to be up there, having missed out on participation in Paris-Nice, but apparently that was only a warm-up contest in that regard.
Good luck to all for Romandie. Feels a lot more difficult than picking teams for the classics, as there you were sure some of the riders at lower cost would guarantee solid points on a normal day without bad luck. |

What a fight we got in this league. Probably the best on VG.
CONGRAT Ember. Outstanding selection.
The fight behind Ember is fierce and this league had several top placings in the last couple of races. PcmDaily League truly rocks
Imagine it was Ember first individual win, yet the overall winner last year. Winning the overall without a race win, a little bit Froome style that is.

Romandie Team picked. Absolutely no expectations. Very difficult to pick as there are no real Outstanding GC riders other than Roglic and Thomas who are either not wanting to go full gas so close to the Giro (Roglic), or just not in any kind of form (Thomas).

Decided to go on a youngster team, no expectations. Season has been good so no worries about a bad result. My heart chose Evenepoel, Gaudu, Martinez, Moschetti and Knox, no big GC guys so I’m curious how this will go. Nevertheless, never been this happy with a team before even though it is far from strong. |

At one point I had Evanpoel, Gaudu and Martinez in my team. Think I got rid of all of them in the end. Went against Roglic and Thomas as I don't think either will be going all out for the win. It's a really open race. Anything could happen.

There's is talk of Roglic not going all out and the team pointing to Kruijswijk etc. but then Roglic has performed well in all 9 of the last stage races he has competed in since the start of 2018, with a high GC placing in all but one, so I'm not convinced he won't give a, safety conscious, go... hopefully.

To go with or without Roglic was the big question, and seeing him in the leader's jersey after the first stage with all the points that will bring, it seems like I got it all wrong, which makes me suggest a new league for all of us who are without him
Wyman is off to a flyer, and with Gaudu, Thomas and Knox for the GC in addition to Roglic, it seems like he picked the right guys other than Roglic, based on yesterday's stage. Same goes for Kalach in second place, who might have the perfect GC team with Roglic, Costa and Woods. But obviously it's still early days |

Roglic+Gaudu was a good decision.
Buchmann might prove later in the race while Colbrelli might have been a bad decision seeing the difficult sprinter profiles here. But had to give it a go.
EF Education unfortunately goes fully Woods I guess as Daniel Felipe Martinez was my pick for another consistent stage race top5-10. Apparently not and this way a costly 2nd leader pick. |

Woods and Rui Costa are looking good for me so far. Hopefully Buchmann and Kruijseijk will improve in the mountains. Ideally could do with De Ghent going on a trademark solo stage win, Jan Hirt to have a good mountain stage and Campenaerts to go well in the final TT to top it all off.
Most likely the opposite will happen.
