If the only problem is the db tab you could open the latest db in a new instance if Libre Office or in Open Office - as I said, OO displays the colour scheme for the rider stats much better. You could also try and save the file as .ods after first opening it and then only load/use that.
Thank you, I'll try those solutions next time I open the file. Well, not the OO one because it keeps freezing on my computer, but yeah. Side note, I did figure out part of the problem with the colouring. The conditional formatting is there and does work where it is, but for some reason it gets displaced to start down near the bottom of the table when opened in LibreOffice.

I know I'm missing something, and couldn't find it searching the threads.. I have 16 riders currently, why am I "missing" 17?

Sounds like data got shifted somewhere, 'missing 17' would seem to be for a new CT team with one talent already on the books

Do you have a dev team? 33 sounds like a WT+DT limit.

25 riders for main team + 8 riders for u23 team = 33
33 - 16 = 17 |

Transfer Schedule
A day will always end on 10pm CEST, meaning everything received until then will be considered for the update following the day.
Monday (15.10) will be day 1 - meaning first Free Agents will be signed after Wednesday (10pm). However all bids received until Wednesday will be considered as sent in on day 1. Tables will be sent out after the first update for second bids in case a rider was contested by several teams, you'll have time until Friday to do them. So these riders will be added to teams from then. Trades will be allowed starting Saturday (-> from Friday 10pm).
I'll update the transfers post with how to use every table of the sheet once that is needed.
In case you are waiting for research prices they'll be posted later today. |

Do we have to send everything again on Monday or it is already "received"?
Asking just to be sure. |

If you have sent in something already that's fine, no need to send again. |

Will costs for the scouts themselves & the system be the exact same as last year? Sorry if you've already told us
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

@ivaneurope: yes
@jandal: system stays the same, costs for scouts will be a little bit more (25 instead of 20 per scout level) |

Research Prices:
PoY will be cheaper for riders 31+ and an AVG of <80:
| 80+ | 79+ | 78+ | 77+ | 76+ | 75+ | - | Year 1 | 350 | 270 | 210 | 165 | 125 | 100 | 75 | Year 2 | 450 | 350 | 270 | 210 | 160 | 125 | 100 | Year 3 | 575 | 445 | 345 | 270 | 205 | 160 | 125 | Year 4 | 700 | 545 | 420 | 325 | 255 | 195 | 150 |
Statpacks:
You'll get between 1,5% and 3% of what you are paying. So if you buy a 100 stat pack you will get between 6 and 12 points for a stat where it says 4 in the Training table.
The limits are 82(MO, SP, TT, CB) and 81(HI). A statpack that costed more than 100 can only be spent on riders with an average of 78,0 or more, if it fits the rider stats distribution. Meaning a climber package on a climber and so on and on an AVG 78+ climber can e.g. only a sprinter package which was max 100 paid for. The same counts for riders 76,0 or better with stat packs that costed more than 250.
However, I still reserve myself the right to intervene if a rider will become to strong to my liking, so if you are unsure better ask first before keeping money back.

I'm a little unclear on how the stat packs work generally, will that be explained more clearly once we get to that phase, or is there a more detailed explanation in a previous season I could read?

I asked about it last season, here is the answer I got:
https://pcmdaily....st_1265946
The 6 to 12 points in Bikex's example aren't real stat points, they are the far more intricate basestat points.
Maybe this also helps, it's a screenshot from this year's rider development of Daniel Schorn:
Schorn gained 28 points in sprinting, but that wasn't enough to raise his actual SPR 77, he's still missing 9 points. To be certain to raise it to SPR 78 I'd have to spend 120 on a sprint training package (120*0.015*5=9).

It's like Ripley said, you can check how much basestat points every rider has here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/shbipa....xlsx/file |
