Lopez is really getting on my nerves. Such a blatant follower. And even when he attacks, when there's somebody with him he'll immediately stop.
I swear if he wasn't Colombian he'd get the same hate every wheelsucker does.
Yeah, I don't like him at all. He could have won that stage, but he decided to throw it because he didn't want to have to pull through. Refuses to grow a pair and just go for it. Every time. It's like he's out there trying to piss people off rather than win. It's one thing to wheelsuck and then win, but he wheelsucks so badly that it's to his and other's detriment. Pretty stupid.

Yates is always such fun to follow, awesome kick and deserved win.

Saw the footage of the final climb, can't understand Quintana and Lopez really. One just doesn't collaborate, the other pouts for no collaboration. And Aru, is it just me, or did he make an incredible recovery on the climb? One of the first to be left behind when the group was around 20 riders and still finished in the top-10. |

Quite a few guys did. Izagirre looked like he was gonna lose minutes. In the end he was barely behind the favorites. Turns out going at your own pace and ignoring the race up front is actually better.

Astanalaying all theur eggs on this single attack. They coul dhave been a bit more conservative. Movistar still has Valverde, Quintana and Carapaz with 7km to go.

I don't know but Valverde looks like he could drop them all if he wasn't obliged to tow Quintana. |

Amen!
What a classic! Especially with all the fog and everything.
Quintana should start using his brains, agreed!
