Problem/Bug: Unexpected drop in rider form
Explanation of the Problem/Bug:
After carefully planning my season, including fitness schedules and all the races, I'm noticing some severe drops in form for most of my riders towards their main goals. These drops were not shown when I was actually planning the season, but they came up later without apparent reason and without extraordinary fatigue. Reloading the game from a weekly save seems to help, so it's not consistent.
Reproducibility (always/sometimes/random/Not tried to reproduce/unable to reproduce):
Sometimes.

For anybody else experiencing this problem, I think I found a workaround. Go to the table DYN_cyclist_fitness and edit the column value_i_ch4s (see also the screenshot) with a value in the range of 1886416944. If you take this route, be careful. I have no idea what this value does and why it works, so it could have other effects too.

Problem/Bug: Unexpected fatigue buildup
Explanation of the Problem/Bug:
I planned my entire season, races and fitness, for the team with no one getting fatigue above 50. Almost two months into the season, I take a look at the planner again and notice that fatigue is much higher than what it was supposed to be. Since the riders did not ride anywhere outside of what was already planned in advance, this should not be happening.
This kind of bugs is extremely demotivating, as the planning is taking a lot of effort and that effort is now wasted.
Reproducibility (always/sometimes/random/Not tried to reproduce/unable to reproduce):
It depends. Tried relaunching the same career with a weekly save and then it did not happen.

Problem/Bug: cannot negotiate with signed riders
Explaination of the Problem/Bug: i am in year 2. my bank account is at about -350.000€, so i failed economically. now it is mid august and all my riders with expiring contracts are leaving, as i cannot sign any riders that are under contract (no matter if they are in my team or in an other team). i accept that i failed , and i am willing to start the next season with a few good riders less. but i dont want to play a whole other season with the same problem occuring again at the end of the next season.
note: at aug 1st of my first season it was no problem to negotiate.

Hi PCM
I am pretty deep in to an online tournament with my brother, but in our current stage race, all of a sudden we are racing, and a list of like 20 riders or something, which are not even in the stage race (wasn't even in from the start) is now on top of the gc, and now 4 hours ahead of the real leader, Henao and co. what do we do? We are afraid to finish the stage race before this is fixed, because what if the wrong riders get world tour / superprestige points.
Also, some of the names appear twice on the standings report.
Really hope you can help
Best regards
Can we edit anything in the database, maybe remove them from the tournament, that they wasnt in to begin with?

Top AI sprinters issue Objectives/Form vs Planning
There is a serious mismatch between the objectives and the planning of the star AI sprinters. In my second season very few AI sprinters have TDF as their objective. (by looking at DYN_Cyclist_Objective) but a lot of them are racing the TDF.
In season 3, almost no sprinter is racing the TDF (even though there are 10 flat stages), they are all racing the Giro, but now they do have the TDF as their objective...
An extended analysis below:
I know that there is logic in the planning that it looks at what stages are included in the tour, but the TDF has 9 flat stages and only Gaviria and Démare have TDF as objective from this list of sprinters that are riding the tour:
Fernando Gaviria*
Peter Sagan
Dylan Groenewegen
Alexander Kristoff
Christophe Laporte
Jakub Mareczko
Arnaud Démare*
Mark Cavendish
Michael Matthews
Marcel Kittel
=> maybe it is because the WC is a flat race this year and sprinters give one of their 3 objectives to the world championship already?
I also see that alot of sprinters don't even have their own objectives (like Sagan !) but are teammate to someone else and inherit their objectives. Sagan for example is set to ride the tour de france, but has following objectives inherited: Tirrenno, Giro, World Championship -> because he is a teammate for Sam Bennet who is set to ride the Giro. As a result Sagan has bad form during the TDF, and has high form during the Giro which he does not even participate in...
Data from season 3:
In season 3 only three top sprinters are set to ride the tour (10 flat stages)
Arnaud Démare*
Fernando Gaviria*
Elia Viviani
and again only Démare and Gaviria have it as their objective.
But alot of top sprinters are set to ride the Giro (which only has 5 flat stages) but most of them now have TDF set as their objective. Only Mareczko rides the giro and has it as an objective
Dylan Groenewegen (rides giro but has tdf as objective)
Caleb Ewan (rides giro but has tdf as objective)
Mike Teunissen (rides giro but has tdf as objective)
Sam Bennett (rides giro but has tdf as objective)
Pascal Ackermann
Peter Sagan (rides giro but has tdf as objective)
Phil Bauhaus
Jakub Mareczko*
*************************************************
The three main items I take away from this:
**************************************************
- Mismatch between planning & objectives
- Sprinters make bad decisions of which grand tour they ride (in season 3 TDF has 10 sprint stages, Vuelta 9 and Giro 5... most sprinters ride Giro, only 3 top sprinters TDF and only 1 in Vuelta => sprinters should look at the parcours)
- Top sprinters (like Gaviria) have no own objectives but are set as teammate

should be do-able to remove them from GC or at least give them a value in GC that they're not leading by 4 hrs because they missed a stage
I had it myself when I added riders to a race (for realism, they rode it irl)
they missed stage 1 but were classified as if they finished in 0 seconds
I then changed their value for GC. it's in the table Race Classifications |

Sudden drop in fitness.
So i planned my entire teams fitness for the entire season, calculating races in ( cause planner sucks with that ) and making sure resting ( 0 training ) are complete weeks ( as 1 day of racing, pretty much ruins the effect of resting ).
So everything was planned perfectly.
Now all of a sudden majority of my team suddenly dropped 10-15% in fitness ( in like 1 week ). Not because of training ( some training at 100% ), just sudden drop.
And i can't see any races or so as reason, as it's a majority of my team who all rode different races ( or training camp )

so any explanation of this?

Giro D'italia rest day bugs.
I'm playing pro cyclist and it looks like the rest days aren't counted for. I tried playing through before i noticed it. The game just skips the day (since it's a rest day) but the riders are riding the stage. Lost the tour because of it..

Problem/Bug: "Your graphic card is older than 2 years..." crash
Explaination of the Problem/Bug:
The game crashes in the negotiation section as Gaviria is listed as a new rider for my team next season. He is marked with red and I clearly see this is a mistake as he is not listed in my squad for the upcoming season. When I click on him the game crashes and says: "Your graphic card is older than 2 years..."
Reproducibility (always/sometimes/random/Not tried to reproduce/unable to reproduce):
Unable?

Pain is temporary. Quitting lasts forever.

Did you use a weekly save at some point? I'm noticing with my careers that it doesn't happen (so far) when I just stick to the main career, but as soon as I decide to use a weekly save, there is a very high chance of shit hitting the fan. Something must be going wrong in the generation of weekly saves, I'm getting more and more convinced about that. |

My rider is 74 overall (fighter), so my skills is not that good (77 flat, 73 hill). No matter what race I play, when I attack the pack chases me down the second I stand up from the bike. This happens even in the lower ranking races and when I set the difficult at easy. I even played a stage race where I waited 30 minutes so I'd be 30 minutes behind the next day so I can go in breakaways. The same still happens.... Is this any setting? Have anyone experienced the same? |

Problem/Bug: u23 development team salary bug
Explanation of the Problem/Bug:
Had a budget of 1,7mil with my custom team in November so created an u23 development team of 20 riders. Now it's February and I'm losing more than 3 millions every month because every u23 rider in the team is making 152k a month. Anyone know how to fix this? Possibly with lachis editor? |

For what is is worth, I just had this bug. Right before the vuelta for one specific week no rest was counted. So all the guys who had rest that week went up around 20 points in fatigue for the week. It was very frustrating because not only did I plan things out, but I kept checking in runup to the race like I always do with big races, and I literally had to re- plan the whole race and fill in lesser riders for the guys who fell victim to the bug.
At first i didn't know what happened just that several guys were in massive red. Then when I deep dived in the planner to see what happened I saw the problem where despite being set to 0% and having no races, the guys went up around 20 points in fatigue right when they should have gone down.
I will write down the week (it is right before Vuelta) and next season I will see if it does it again and the problem is that particular week. They probably won't fix it, but you can plan accordingly and not schedule rest on that week from then on. |

I think I was always naive, I was now in it and yes it happened to me too. In fact, it happens in every career, I assume it MAY be actual fatigue from races but I'm starting to not believe that. Anyone can bring more knowledge into this subject?

There is a bug that falsely displays fatigue after you load a previous weekly save (and interestingly, that also removes one day of training form points), and also seemingly at random if I remember correctly.
That bug however is just a display bug and actual fatigue gets displayed again correctly once you advance to the next week.

Thank you for the information.
It did correct itself after I advanced to the next week. |
