The team management of Volvo acc. by Spotify a few days ago was contaced by the Danish Cycling Federation who wanted to develop the cycling in Scandinavia further.
With a mix of Scandinavian veterans, talents aswell as talents outside Scandinavia they think they would have a great plan to get a team to race in C2 and C1 races.
The sponsor is Bang & Olufsen who a couple a years ago sponsored a PT team and this year as a tribute to that team the Amatuer team will ride in that same jersey as the 2014 Team B&O.

Nice to have B&O back
Would have been great if you had picked up both La Lavandiers Mathieu could be up for some decent results on C2 level, I guess. His acceleration obviously hurts a bit, but his 75/73 MO/HI combination is quite cool.
This Gorazd Per is the brother of David? He looks quite solid with his future stats. He should definitely benefit from this year on your team and should be thankful, that someone finally picked him up.

I considered Bengtsson for stagiare. Now I'm happy I went another way so Ludvig can get up a level and get one step closer to being useful.

If he's 25, he wouldn't have been eligible for a stagiare spot though. Or is it a typo by viking?

Great so see Per getting some race time, was difficult to leave him out of my team.

Perhaps thinking of Filip Bengsston, his brother, who's 23? He's my stagiare this year

Of course. Didn't recheck the DB and U believe they're even similar rider types.

Very similar. Both young, Swedish sprinters on a similar level and potential. Filip maxes at 77/78, so almost identical.

Good job to pick up La Lavandier before I had clarity on how to react. I would have loved him at my setup
Otherwise some interesting thoughts assembling this team, which looks a lot like mine. Too bad Solinski doesn't have a higher acceleration. He would have been a perfect leadout rider if he had 77-78ACC once maxed.

Really happy he ended up on a team in general and yours especially.
It hurt a bit not being able to give him a contract for this season.

@tsmoha - Yeah I found it was a good idea to take the team back
One La Lavandier was enough for us, did not want to go to much outside our region but he was to good to let be. Surprised he was still left, he could be a useful helper in CT and even in PCT.
I guess its his brother yeah, I´m glad he will level up with us.
@Atlantius Yes Im happy I was able to get Bengtsson up one level so he might be useful for PCT/CT teams.
@redordead Yes, he will develop in to a good helper in the future so feel nice to help him.
@SotD Yeah he was a solid pickup, will hopefully show some aggresive riding. Kinda regret I signed De Decker guess I could have found another talent instead of him on another terrain. Im not sure how I will develop Solinski and Per (take for granted that it is us A-CT managers choosing how to develop them.) |
