I feel like the last Mountain Stage should always be a mountain top finish because usually there's not much change with a downhill finish |

Hopefully Movistar will lay the pressure from the first mountain, and on the descent as well, before Quintana attacks on Tourmalet. If they could get Valverde and Amador out with the morning breakaway, together with Alaphillipe, then hopefully Quintana could catch them on Tourmalet, and get a ride with them on the descend and maybe up the mountain before Aubisque, where he will ride solo to another stage win.
It's a grand plan, very difficult to execute, but he has to try imo. Knowing the team I doubt he will though.
Fuglsang should try to catch the early break as well in my opinion.
Regarding Froome I think he could try something, if he's back to his best. If not he won't, but I could see him shadowing Landa or someone attacking, leading to him getting away from all of them, and winning the Tour. I disregarded him in the Giro, I am never going to do that again, though I deem it highly unlikely once again.

I hope Froome does something, if he doesent it will be the standard Sky train, some top 20 GC guys attacking. Then being caught again after 1km of suffering.
Fingers crossed for Froomey to attack. But the Giro seems to have taken a lot out of him. Suprisingly Tommy D looks super fresh, for having ridden the Giro.

My prevision is....total nothing about GC
I hope to be wrong.
About the stage, break will win this at 99%, Majka Mollema or Yates are top favourites imo

downhill finish is at your side.
But if we are looking GC and last stage progression. Roglic with he's 2 climbing team has now serious ambition to be at podium.

What is Van Garderen actually doing in this race still?
Far from any GC positions but different to other riders such as Majka, Mollema, Yates, he doesn`t go into breakaways neither.
BMC must be rather depressed with that performance. |

Flattered to Deceive. It's been the story of his career as a whole really.

It's Lotto's day. Kruiswijk on the Tourmalet, Rogla joins him, takes some time on Dumoulin and holds it in the TT <3
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Nice profile for the last mountain here. Really got potential if any(movistar) teams willing to go all out.

As Ringo says, he is a lost case, i doubt he will even get any decent job anywhere soon, no breakaway material, no GC hope, just false promise.

Van Garderen’s just waiting for the time trial where he will most probrably finish in an average top-10 no one will remember the next day. |

I've been disappointed too many times when had great expectation from some stages, just to specify my shot, I think someone will try something (LNL in particular) but with no significant result

As said elsewhere...I am not a fan of his progression.
I might be proven wrong by others, but it`s like Froome 3.0 with Zakarin being the 2.0. |

Don't really like this profile, Dumoulin needs to take at least a minute on Thomas, but I don't see how unless Thomas collapses. Dumoulin doesn't even have a team for some early pressure.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Remember Froome always wins, not Thomas
Won't be surprised if Froome attacks Thomas today tbh!
