Congratulations! That's what you get for being kind the year Bystrøm and Dyrnes were added
At least it made it easier to stay away from Eriksson now. And I also suspected you would anyway have decent money set aside for him if it had come down to a bidding war for him. |

@whitejersey & Aquarius97
yeah i´m very happy nobody else decided to give me a fight over him
@atlantius
then I´m happy you relegated, (well ofc i´m not to be honest)
@ember
Well, I was nice and give you both of them, why could not you stay away fron Anderberg aswell?
Second signing this off season
We keep on building for over future this time it´s a young talented norwegian, and he likes to handle those tough cobblesstones.
He did not became such a steal as Eriksson we needed to give him 100.000 to sign with us.

Welcome home mr. Bertilsson.
Christian signed his first cycling contract back in 2013 with us, meaning he joined us the same season as Tobias Ludvigsson and Jonas Ahlstrand. Nice company he got there.
He stayed with us for a long time, in 2016 he went to RBC Pro cycling team for a one year loan to feel how it was too meet the top guns, He develop in to a nice leadout men but when it was time for renewals we honestly could not agree on a contract.
So when finally Christian had reached his top potential he was not longer in our team, we was a big part when developing in to the rider he is today but we never got to see his skills in our jersey.
Last year he was with our friends in Carsberg – Dankse Bank but they did not renew his contract.
So we are very happy to have him back here with us now, warm welcome Christian!

Since we sold Freddy Johanssons earlier we needed to replace him with a TT guy and we did found one who actually looks better then Freddy but therefor got a lot expensiver, wage at 110.000.

Friendly reminder that you're missing the REC gains for Halvorsen there.
Looks like a promising diverse core!

Welcome back to another rider
This time it´s Raymond Kreder who is back at the team, he rode with us in the year 2015 but then got sold to Löbauer Stadtwerke - Etixx.
This time we actually aimed to sign his brother Michel Kreder (who also have been with this team before, 2013-2014).
But Michel´s wage went up to 150.000 and ended up at the new team Delvaux so we decided to go for little brother Raymond instead who accepted a minumum wage, 50.000.

I was very close to making an offer for him. I only decided against it because I already have Weber and Bar

I like riders like Ariensen. Solid leadout and that 70CB makes him a nice team filler guy for Stallaert on the cobbles too

@knockout - yes exakly his cobble stat is important for us this season.
Im surprised and happy I got both him and Kreder at minimum wage actually. Guess they would have been more attractive with +78 in SP.
But really thought a CT team would outbid me. |

Good to see him finding a team. Even on highest level.
Ariesen was one of my first season talents alongside Krieger and Koep. Never made it far with me, but nostalgy for former riders remain.
Actually both him and Kreder were on my long long short list far behind though.
Hadn`t paid more than minimum on any of them neither, but simply had no wage left for more leadout even though my team is rather short on this to be honest when seeing the two leaders. |

We can now present our team for 2018 season with guys inloaned.
That is 3 guys, one from Finland who will support in the hills, that is Kanerva from Valio - DeLaval.
We also have Maccagli from San Marino contracted by Sauber Petronas Racing , he will try to develop with us this year. His strongest area is TT for now.
Last we got Manamalage from Sri Lanka who belongs to SPAR - Shimano - SCG. He will support us on flat terrain and also on the cobbles.
this picture is without planned traning. |

Looking back on old posts here. As Tiller's host family this year, I really liked the extra sprint rather than TT for him, but your call.
Also, happy Bertilsson ended up with you. Simply wanted too much in renewals with the new OVL to deem it worth it considering we already had AKA graduating. It's only fitting he should be back where he belongs!

Just as last year we have this as a win goal, last year Ahlstrand ended up with 8th. We now it will be very hard to even be close to finish but Ahlstrand can surprise if the big guns forget him in the last meters.
Another tough goal to achive but not impossible, Stallaert have spend a lot of hours on cobblesstones this offseason I have must likely improved his skills on that hard terrain.
Top 3 Ronde van Vlaanderen
Well, just read a few lines over here again.
David Abal managed to get two top 10 in GTs last season we hope he can deliver this year aswell, or will it maybe be Tim Wellens trying his luck in Italy?
Well it was either this or "avoid relegation" but that sounded a bit pessimistic, on the other hand Top 10 is very ambitous for us.

Quite tough goals for you. Moscow is super hard and you aimed very high for the cobble monuments. Stallaert looks great post training but top 3 will be very tough as well. I hope my team isnt making the goals any easier for you. Good luck

You've set yourself some high goals and you should be up there competing in all of them. Will definitely follow your season with interest!

Yeah know they are hard, besided top 10 Giro should be doable.
Dont know if I overestimated the tough goals contra my budget, needed some tough goals so I could get money for training
But my budget was about the same as last season only with easier goals that season. (I achived the same amount of goals last season as the one before)
But they are not impossible besides Moscow. Atleast Blythe is away from those cobbleraces , too bad Carlsberg/Vanspeybroeck got wildcard |

Where do our leaders ride this season?
Well, you dont have to think about that longer here is their schudule.
Most of his races is no big surprise really, besides the very very longshot of sending him to GP Rheden, was the managment drunk doing this decision? Doubt it since he has been of alcohol for a year almost.
Then the big question was which GT he would ride, the obvius choose would be Vuelta since it will have a lot of flat stages but we do believe a lot of other sprinters there so we actually made a lottery and he will go to France.
Race | racedays | goals | Tour of Qatar | 6rds | Top 5 | Praha - Karlovy Vary - Praha | 4rds | Stage podium | Ronde van Nederland | 3rds | Stage podium | Lisbon Classic | 2rds | Top 5 | Tour of Norway | 5rds | Stage win | Tour de France | 21rds | Stage podium | Rheden GP | 2rds | No idea | GP Moscow | 2rds | Top5 |
After a little bit of training in the offseason Stallaert will have higher ambitions going in to the cobble races. Due to Ahlstands lottery to go to France we will send Joeri to the Vuelta he will not have a big shot at a stage win but his great ability to recovery can maybe make a chance to get a good stage result in the last week.
Race | racedays | goals | Omloop Het Nieuwsblad | 2rds | Top 3 | Strada Appia Antica | 2rds | Top 5 | Ronde van Nederland | 3rds | Leadout | Ronde van Vlaanderen | 2rds | Top 10 | Paris Roubaix | 2rds | Top 3 | Vuelta a Espana | 21rds | Stage podium | Malopolski Wyscig | 2rds | Top3 | East Midlands Cicle Classic | 2rds | Top 5 | Tour of Northern Europe | 8rds | Stage top 5 | Tour of the Battenkill | 2rds | Top 10 |
Tim will be our leader at TdF since he only will ride one GT he will ride a lot of other races just like last season.
Race | racedays | goals | Badaling International | 2rds | Top 30 | Apex Mountain Classic | 2rds | Top 15 | Paris - Nice | 8rds | Top 10 | GP Liechtenstein | 2rds | Top 15 | Liege - Bastogne - Liege | 2rds | Top 30 | Tour de Suisse | 9rds | Top 10 | Tour de France | 21rds | Top 10 | Tour du Maroc | 9rds | Top 5 |
Our Messiah´s from last season with two GT top 10, he will get the chance to repeat that this year aswell in Italy and Spain.
Race | racedays | goals | Giro d'Italia | 21rds | Top 10 | Vuelta a Espana | 21rds | Top 10 | Criterium du Dauphine Libere | 8rds | Top 10 |
