It's time for PCT teams to decide their HC band choices.
As revealed in the HC profiles thread, and the subsequent calendar file, there are 7 HC bands this year - of either 10 or 11 race days. And each team will ride 6 of them.
These all come out of the total of 175 RD for each team. So it means that some will be using 61 of those RD in HC, and others using 62 of them.
Please send a PM to Aquarius97 with your prioritised list.
e.g.
1. Band 4
2. Band 2
3. Band 3
4. Band 7
5. Band 6
6. Band 1
7. Band 5

Are them some criteria for priority?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

There's a reason why you have do a priority list
In case of an overcrowded band (which can be difficult with 26 teams for 24 spots in each band) it will depend on where you put that band of your list

Some very nice bands this year! Pretty tough to chose one as last priority but I think I made the correct decisions for the vision I have for the team now that we're in PCT!

Yes of course but like the PTHC races have a clear start time and the fastest one gets it. How does it get determined here?

It's very unlikely that an additional tiebreaker to the priority lists will be required.
Most likely will start by asking any involved teams, if they wish to voluntarily take their 7th choice. Else will consider alternatives from there.

Great work of late guys, many thanks.
Just as a heads up, looks like the last stage of the Vuelta a Colombia profile is still to be confirmed.

Am I allowed to change my band choices if I've sent them in earlier? I know I'll lose out on the FCFS but that can't be helped I guess.

I believe we are still waiting for 1 team ... so in that case, you can change your selections yes.

HC choices are also now ready.
All teams have received their Top 5 choices.
But three teams have not received their 6th choice.
In one instance, there was a tiebreak between two teams. And as one of the teams had their 7th choice in an already full band, they had to keep their 6th choice - so the other has to receive their 7th.
The other two are already aware that they have their 7th choice, because they volunteered to do so, when asked yesterday.
Aquarius will be posting a list of which teams are in which band. Thanks to him for collecting the responses, and building the priority allocation file.

Damn, wasn't wanting to ride in Band 2 as a non-TT team
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

More good news for WCC (and it appears from SN's description, most participants).
Small point to highlight, as see it cropping up in more than one place in the forums, WCC's full team name is World Cycling Centre not Center. Important distinction with transfers coming around and need for accuracy in names .

Thanks Aquarius. Not really an issue here specifically, just wanted to get the word out somewhere folks will be reading. Update appreciated all the same .
