Now that second semi could be wrong mate.
This is a surprise WC and I think it's not over with that.
Two teams left that has once won the Cup.
However Brasil vs Belgium was the best game so far.
France vs Argentina perhaps 2nd.
Lets hope eventually the Final will live up to those (fear it will not)
I have been waiting for that Belgium team to live up to the skill they have in all those fine players. Getting them to play as a team (like Sweden) was the key.

You fight for 120 minutes in the quarter-final of your home world cup just for THOSE two penalties?

Subasic is a God.
Very happy for Croatia but they will definitely have to perform at a higher level against England. Should be a cracking Semi-final and likely a tight and intense affair.
The France vs Belgium game could be the game if the tournament as I'd expect both teams will be looking to play football which will hopefully mean a few goals.
To be honest, I'm happy with any of the remaining teams winning it!

I think France will be the champion.
France meet neighbours Belgium in the semi-finals of the World Cup on Tuesday as they attempt to reach a third final in 20 years.
Belgium, after eliminating title favourites Brazil, are hoping to reach the final for the first time and fulfil the potential of their much-lauded "golden generation".
AFP Sport looks at three key battles in Saint Petersburg that could decide which team moves on to the July 15 final in Moscow.
French teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe announced himself on the global stage with a brilliant two-goal display in a last-16 defeat of Lionel Messi's Argentina.
He is his country's joint-leading scorer in Russia with three goals, alongside Antoine Griezmann, although the 19-year-old was given far fewer opportunities against a solid Uruguay defence in the quarter-final.

The winner of tonight's game will be clear favourites in the final, but England are still there and still have a chance. I make us slight favourites against Croatia but it'll be more or less a 50/50 game. Can't wait.
I'm hoping Belgium win tonight for no other reason than I might win some money in my work competition if they do.

Funny enough, two years ago today France faltered in the Euro final against Portugal. Maybe they can use that loss to strengthen and motivate the team to correct said result or succumb to a July 10th curse. |

It feels like their real first test this WC really, well and Belgium who they did loose against.
Honestly Colombia without James is not very good, and Sweden with Forsberg being the worst player in the team is not a good sign. Panama and Tunisia naaeeh.
But looking forward to an interesting game! |
