Bugs in contract deals?

Hi guys,
I try to sign riders for second season and I can't do that.
When I make a deal with riders it shows that I have around 30 000,- still left... after I made a deal and go back to sign riders it shows: Wou do not have enough money. But I have!
Please... any tips?

Update: It's not fixed in that patch yet, but they're working on it.
The issue is that staff salary wasn't taken in the calculation. :facepalm: |

So the next years sponsor budget is not fixed in patch 1.0.2.2 who is available???

Maybe you can just fire your staff the 1/8 and re sign the staff after you have sign the riders??? |

I believe this is the recommended workaround proposed by cyanide/focus for now.
But I'm pretty sure it will be fixed when the next patch comes out |

But when the new patch come out, do you need to start a new career before it is fixed? |

No, not for these kind of issues.
You only need to restart your career if they make database changes. (adding races, updating cyclists, adding extra columns to the database - this hardly ever is the case, ...)
everything that is a code change will work in career mode as well. |

Seems like the problem still exists.
Just wanted to sign contracts for 3rd season. Have 4 mio. of cash due to prize money and a budget of 1.05 mio.per month of my sponsor. Make around 2.5 mio. prize money a year but can still sign riders and staff for only 1.05 mio. which is exactly the sponsors payment.
When I can't use the prize money to strenghten my team, why even implement it in the game??
I have now only 21 riders for next year due to broken talks with riders and those financial regulations which don't allow me to sign other riders. Can't go back before the talks because there is no savegame function. Real fun! |

You use your budget for development team, hiring staff (not wages but fees) and training camps. |

2.5 mio. for training camps? Are you serious? Sometimes, I send my riders to races. I can't send them in training camps all year.
No seriously, I have around 10 training camps (pre season, giro, tdf, vuelta, time-trial), I have a development team with max costs and my staff is perfectly hired with scouts such as Cancellara, Indurain, Contador, Sorensen, etc.
And with all those costs, I still earn 2 mio. per year from prize money on top. In 5 years I will have 10 mio. cash I can't use or invest or anything.
Just sensless... |
