Dynamics in the chasing group are great entertainment

Was Froome suffering or just caught in the split? |

Pathetic racing in that chasing group, missed a big chance to put time into Dumoulin.

Definitely both as they're related. Best Froome wouldn't get caught off-guard.

Funny how they were waiting for Tom, while at the same time losing more time to Simon. Cycling is a crazy beast.

Now he is almost 5 mins down.
Froome has nothing to prove by just finishing top 10. He may as well pack up and prepare for TdF.
Or have SKy pre-decided that Froome is not going to TdF due to controversy. |

What a dominating performance from Yates once again. Hasn't shown any sign of weakness at all throughout this giro. Looks almost too good to be true. Reminded me of some other dudes in the past.
Loved how Tom got back at those guys that tried to screw him.
Without any accidents Yates will win and Tom will be second. |

Is it smart to keep wounded Chaves in the Giro? |

Lopez and Carapz are way down and will lose even more time in the TT. It's up to Pinot, Pozzo and Dumou to work.

Froome I honestly can't underdtand by now.. I think that the short climbs were hurting him, but with yesterday's apparent form I think he would do fine so I really don't know what to expect from him in the final mountain stages..
Yates, I think he'll crack on stage 19/20, Dumoulin will be in peak form and it's unsure wether Pozzo/Pinot can distance him..
In my head Dumoulin has taken a big step into winning the Giro today, I honestly don't see Yates hanging onto his form but onto a podium place I think he can.
