Froome.exe has been fully installed in your computer.

Would you also like to install the Salfrootamol expansion pack? Keep in mind the following files would be overwritten:

Froome should not have been in this race from day 1 – As he has tested positive, but we have known that for a long time, won’t let that spoil my fun. I just hope he has lost too much time to win the race.

This is second time I dont like Giro director actions. To much money involved, all that start at Jerusalem with israel based team.
All that money they payed to Sky to get Froome racing..and they still wanted him after shit storm this man caused. What ever result is ..it stands statement. Bull shit.

Well, not trying to defend Froome, but Salbutamol isn't on the doping list afaik. You can't ban a rider for that.

Ah damn crappy for Bennett to get a mechanical there, lost a lot of time Sad

11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

That is afaik not korrekt, Alessandro Petacchi was banned for "over" use in 2008, is legal to a degree, but to much is banned and that is what the Froome case is all about.

Well, two caught dopers at the top of the Zoncolan today. Can't say I'm surprised, but I hope one day cycling will finally be free of this crap.

If you're gonna start about Froome Salbultamol. Yates is an asthma patient as well and was suspended over taking a puff without a TUE back in '16.

It takes Asthma to be a great climber.

Sure does, but doesen't 99% of the peleton have "effort-asthma" anyways?

As I mentioned before, two caught dopers at the top today. Yates has been convicted, so he shouldn't be heralded as a token of clean cycling like some seem to make out. I don't care about "how bad" a violation is, how innocent intentions are, or how sorry you are. When you are a professional athlete, you need to heavily scrutinize every medication that can and will enter your body before it becomes an issue. That is part of the responsibility. Those who don't are dopers.

As much as asthma is something that can be life threatening and really needs to be taken care of obviously, I'm getting really tired of asthma as an excuse.

Cycling is an ENDURANCE SPORT. It requires high levels of oxygen intake and the ability to use that over very long distances. That is the entire point! The ability to do that is what make professional cyclists special. We don't allow people with damaged legs to put motors in their bike to even the playing field and let them compete. How is this different? So taking that into account, maybe here's a suggestion, as hard as it may sound:

People with asthma that inhibits the ability to perform as a pro cyclist shouldn't be pro cyclists.

I agree. The Astma Plague.

What is strange though is that it took just about 2 months to ban Simon, even though his offence was relative minor, he was asaik inside the permitted limit, he just never got a permission.

Froome was way over the permitted limit, got caught 7 months ago, and is still riding.

Rusty Woods is definitely a guy I like to cheer for, perhaps the most sympathetic Cannondale rider in a few years, imo.

Also, remember guys when Aru was a GC contender? Those days are gone.
