I went with four sprinters. Today, Cav has mechanical with 10km to go, Kittel flats with 6km to go, Walscheid crashes with 3km to go, Ewan gets 2nd. That about sums up the last five weeks of my velogames experience.

Hi all
I will be on holiday next week so I'll update both the Tour of California and Giro results when I get back.
Cheers

I'm retreating back into the fantasy world after today:
Yates implosion
O'Connor - crash -> DNF from a decent GC position
Ciccione/LLS - no leeway in the break (again)
I've had better fantasy days too...

And my scourge has suddenly stopped on day 19, but still soooo far from the top-25 that not even the Puffboy ressurection will grant me the necessary points. |

Just worked out I'm in the top half a percent of all teams in the Giro, despite my GC riders, Yates, O'Connor and Pinot all falling by the wayside in the last 48 hours. That is only good enough for 4th in our mini league - go Daily!

Have a dish of rice and potatoes, the diet trick to win the Giro. |

Table has been updated. Many thanks to Freitas for providing me with the California results.
Ian has taken a commanding lead however a good set of results for Kembo Tony, including 70 at the Giro, has kept him within touching distance.
Everyone else is a fair distance behind but there is still plenty of time for everything to change and plenty of points to play for.

My joy was indeed short. Very poor results in both California and Giro dropped me out from top 25.
Everything goes wrong this year, at least in VG. Can be happy over a total overall 2nd in FirstCycling manager game, but that is not as fun as this.
Looks to be the year that every pick is "Shit I should have picked the other rider"
Nicely done KemboTony !!! Getting your first win. Have a pint to celebrate

Happy to pick up my first win in California Dauphine might be the hardest Velogames so far this year. I've heard rumours about Sky planning to pull Bernal out of the race so that he can prepare for the Tour. Can anyone confirm this? |

Bernal won’t race - Geoghegan Hart takes his place. |

Teams entered for the Dauphine. Can't wait to finish outside the top 25 again
You would have thought I would have gotten at least one decent result through pure luck by this time!!!

...and Thomas on the deck again. Remind me why I pick him, would’ve been thereabouts for the win otherwise.
