What a Vuelta for us!!! If only we had won stage 21... but I can't complain at all. Also, Kreder is surprisingly in Quebec final (I can't still get how but okey). Maybe we can dream of staying one more season in this division... way above my expectations. Let's do this, Sevilla!

Rankings update is posted. Also the final result of Quebec Sprint Challenge: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1287980
It's also time to think about where the World Championships will be held. Imo it is time for a mountainous race. We never had one and this season is the perferct year for that with the old guard nearing their career end (Froome's last season on top, Contador's and Nibali's penultimate) and new stars rising this season(Aru, Herrada, Barguil).
Everyone happy with that? Feel free to suggest routes for the WC. |

It's an unispired choice, but Innsbruck?
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

So close for Cymru there
Didn't we already have a mountainous where Contador won? But I'm ok with another.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Contador won in Huy, which was categorized hilly.
These are the World Championships we had:
Ponferrada -> Gilbert
Huy -> Contador
Richmond -> Degenkolb
Kirkenes -> Greipel |

Can we make up around 700 points in the final month to Credit Suisse to achieve promotion?
Moser has several one-day races where he's the ultimate favourite, but i don't think that even winning all C1 ones he can get to 700 points by himself, so we'll need a big effort from our secondary riders to give us massive depth added to Moser wins to get close to that.
Something that can still be possible is that Moser finishes as the best CT rider in the Prestige ranking. Herklotz's calendar is finished, and i think Moser can get 531 points between Tre Valli, Milan-Torino, Emilia, Japan and Lombardia.
We'll see how the season finishes, and then i'll evaluate what to do with the team in our second season

Rankings look good for us but the podium seems out of reach. Peugeot looks in a good position to stay up when Martin performs ahead of Kwiatek in Buca and Lombardia. At least Credit Suisse looks set for promotion, so a swiss team will stay in the WT fortunately.

Spoiler Grande Vincenzo with a nice win here, the man with the most guts. Unfortunate for Daniel Martin to not stay with him, which would have been important points for Peugeot. Also, Betancur with a puncture in the worst moment compleltey out of contestation and losing vital points for the World Cup

I'd love to see Innsbruck but was the route already made?

I'd say Credit Suisse has the 2nd place in the bag. You might still catch us and CCC, but even that is hard. Those hilly races can be a bit unpredictable, Moser will surely score well, but 531 points? We'll see, would be a great achievement, I didn't think Herklotz can be caught, he scored very consistently.
Aviva won the opening TTT of Colombia, a nice surprise, we did bring everybody who's any good on a time trial bike. But stage 3 was a bit of a disaster, looked pretty simple on paper, but Caruso apparently attacked a long way out and everybody except Aviva reacted. PCM AI.
I've seen Innsbruck for PCM 17, still classified as hilly, but extremely hard:

About the latest rankings, 12th place is actually higher than what I expected at the beginning of the season but still feels like we could've done a lot better. October won't have a lot of points for us so we might drop further. Still, this season's target of avoiding relegation looks to have been achieved.

Jesus, loads of things happened in the last day again. Quinghai was good with Caruso getting another podium and also Cambianca and Cattaneo adding some nice points. Quebec was awesome from us so consequentially Montreal was an absolute no show to compensate for that.
Tre Vali Varesine was expectedly not very successful either but Colombia started of very well with Caruso riding superbly once more.
Not much change in the rankings so that is also good. And obviously thanks a lot for all these updates guys.

I need more from Martin in these kind of races but it's not the worst possible result either. Hopefully we'll win Lombardia.

Looking good against relegation, should be more or less safe now. Buca was bad though, Kreuziger in hill classics isn't working as I had hoped.

Moser only 2nd in Tre Valli Varesine and absolute zero depth from the rest of the season doesn't make a great start to October

Thanks Shonak! Nibali winning Bucaramanga in style. Great to see him get at least one more big win this season. In general I was not very happy about his position in the rankings this season.
Shame about Betancur puncturing.
Is there an Innsbruck WC route made for PCM15?
Edit: also thanks abhishek! Great team performance from Italo in Varese |
