UCI not expecting to be decided before Giro.
They hope it`s at least before Tour.
Sucks big time as he can impact races with a questionmark in the end. |

He's raced well below form in two stage races so far this season. Whether he's found guilty or not. I can't see him being in any shape to win a GT or even make a podium..

He's just building form for the Giro-Tour in which he still believes. He was alright in Tirreno, but saving all the gas for later. |

Personally I think the pressure and the situation may well render him well below form this season but of course time will tell over the next few months. Much will depend I think on how he does at the Tour of the Alps the prep race for the Giro.

With all this situation around him, I think he might rather tread lightly in his preparation for further races instead of building dominance from early in the season. Plus, his schedule is different and he has ridden two demanding races at the Tour and La Vuelta. Froome is handling the pressure his own way and the real first answer might come next week. |

Froome will win the Tour if he rides it. Might possibly win the Giro as well. He's keeping attention away from himself in the early season races, that's all.

Belgian cyclist Jeroen Goeleven (25) was found dead this morning in his room. If I'm not mistaken he also used to be active on this forum under the alias 'coureurkeg'. It's another tragic loss of a young cyclist. Rest in peace, Jeroen.
