At least for a few hours I believed hehe. Well looks like the 4th TdF podium in 5 years for my team is secured, at least we got that consistency going for us and neat little achievement for my Grand Tour focused squad. Hopefully we can continue the streak of continous podiums in the Vuelta, too (2/2/1/1/?).
3rd is alright given that Froome was the strongest rider in the race and Contador has been fantastic, too. Great to see Bertie finally achieve the Grand Slam of all three Grands Tour, second rider after Froome (will Nibali follow in a few months?). Given how some top tier riders have been a bit of a letdown (eg Bardet), I am happy that Herrada delivered on his third guy prospect, giving us exactly what we expected/hoped for. Beating Froome was always a bit of a stretch, I think Sugoi really made the best given the bad start in the beginning & fully deserved their multiple stage wins. Although 2nd would have been nice, at least we know that Herrada has a good future ahead of him, whilst this was (afair) Froome's last GT at top and Contador's clock is ticking too. Also, jeez Suntory have been amazing with Coppel and Chevrier. What a race for them. Bunzl also with some nice depth in the scoring.

After Bardet failed to beat Mo 77 Carlos Verona I was a bit disappointed but all that has been forgiven and forgotten watching my two Mo 77 guys Coppel and Chevrier having an awesome race and doing things like dropping the yellow jersey on a climb!
Just need Cav to get his sprinting trousers on for the last stage.
Thanks for the super videos Bikex and congrats to Knockout.

Good to see Ospina trying to repeat the trick - and managing to stay 9th. Not a great Tour it seems like but not a bad one either for sure for us.
Hoping nothing happens on stage 21, congrats to CarbonSports

If Bouhanni doesn't win green I'll call this Tour a total failure. No attacks in the mountain stages, not fitting for our team philosophy. And this is one of our focus races...

Spoiler Congrats knockout on the Tour win. It's great to see Contador finally bringing the yellow jersey home. Froome and Herrada also with their deserved podium spots. I don't know what to say about the 4th though. At no point in the race I thought it would be possible for Rosa to finish so high. Would have deserved him not to be there the way he ended up on 4th. That's some voodoo stuff there that the 4th, 5th and 6th crash out to make this possible for Rosa. I feel really sorry for especially DaveTwoBob, until the end of the stage I hoped the gap would be closed but it only got bigger.
Both points and mountains jersey going to CT teams is nice, they really lighted up the race. Especially Statoil with some unreal performances. Their strong sprint train often made the difference. |

I forgot our contact this year stated the team leader has to loose 3 mins in a stupid way in every GT. Looking forward to how we achieve this at La Vuelta
At least Cav made the podium at last!

Of course Van Poppel wins, the best sprinter of the race losing the green jersey and a shitload of points due to injury. A shame really, but I have to congratulate Statoil for their great run.
Good to see Contador win a final (?) GT, Goos started off well but lost a lot of time in the mountains. He needs a Gesink crash to finish top 15, but that was to be expected of course
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

So, congrats hillis91, our little psychological warfare has ended in your favor! Also congrats to knockout! And thanks Shonak/Bikex for the reports. Not looking forward to the rankings update though.

Not a bad TDF all in all but still needing a massive Vuelta and surprise results to not finish last, never mind stay up. Come on!

Caruso climbs into second with a massive month. Despite that we lost a position to Aviva but things still look very good.
Thanks for the update and also the new preview Bikex!

Holy moly! YES! YES! YES! What a race for us. Seeing the team dominating the lead-out on Champs. Getting 5th and the leadout guy blocking points for our main guy aside. Great to see.
Thank you @Marcovdw, this time only i guess
@Ollfardh and what a beutiful run it was
