Pretty much where I expected Gastauer to be there so, good. Being so far forward to earn KoM points is a promising sign too.

Well done Vakoc. Staying in the fight for top 10 is a good result.

Great to see Flügel on the attack and comfortably in the favourites group, hope he can stay lively for the queen stage.
Congrats to dev4ever - Ponzi looking good.

Oh, so close. Had thought a stage win here would be enough for the GC, but Ponzi just managed to hold on. Super happy about the stage win though, and a place on the GC podium should be secured. With the hills tomorrow, it could be a chance to fight high up in the sprint, but it would surprise me.
A bit underwhelminh from Watson, but good to have both Skjerping and Vink top 50.
Thanks for the report, Abhishek, brilliant as always.

A good stage for me. Skujins is sitting in a good GC position. A bit of a shame that MVS dropped so hard in the end after keeping up with the elite group for quite some time but lerhaps he saved some energy for the next stage which is honestly a must win stage for him.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

That's a very nice stage for us, with Beltran now looking set for a top 10 finish. Though, Borges could be dangerous on the next stage, as he has proven his sprint can be counted on in such stages, making him a threat for a stage podium if it's raced hard.
Also nice to have Dyrnes and Hoelgaard inside the top 30, securing some extra points in addition to the teams classification.
Congratulations on the stage win, tastasol! Also very well done Ponzi to defend the GC lead. Must say I enjoy seeing two other Norwegian managers doing that well, and also continuing to get rewarded for their strategy during transfers this season.
And thank you for the report, AbhishekLFC! And please, no GC drama on the final two stages |

Mixed feelings. 2nd on the stage is great, but it's a pity is was only enough to move up to 4th in the GC. Probably too less to shake some pressure off - with Trofimov sitting on 5th as well. At least Bobridge showed that he can pull some significant results against this competition.
Haas in the break, fine. No GC backup result though.

Solid performance by Pichon, hope he keeps at 13th which would mean some points. Vanendert in 20th please stay there, too.Perhaps another podium by Guarnieri on one of the next stages and it would have been a genuinely good race.

Mohoric doing great to keep that Top 15 spot, though he sadly lost white to Vakoc of our friends from Moser who we would've loved to beat. But well, maybe Mohoric can have his revenge next year

Tsatevich hanging tough and that's all I can really ask for. Wish TVG had more race days so he could challenge the top guys here.

I need these points more than you this year. Mohoric will be a beast next year.
I am happy that Vakoc is finally getting some type of expected results.
Thanks a lot for the report!

Very excited to see Gastauer in the first attack. Too bad that he faded, but 6th would still be a good outcome. Nice backup from Paterski too, for a Top 30.

As predicted, this will be a rubbish race for us, like most other races have been...

Sucks for Isostar and not as good as Evonik could have got - but the return of Fritsch saves this race
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Just happy to avoid the crashes tbh. A bit on the downside this tho, with Boasson Hagen losing the points jersey (and any chance of winning this race) and also being our only rider in the peloton! Means we drop out of the top 50 with both Vink and Skjerping so some points lost there. Surpringsly big gaps, almost seemed more hilly than the second stage...
Thanks for the report!

A pity about the breakaway. Bobridge looked strong.
