Deutschland Tour wrapped up: https://pcmdaily.c...st_1282800
Spoiler Stage 7 did not prove as decisive but Betancur did increase the gap at the top. The break not getting caught was perhaps the reason for the passivity. Stage 8 too went to the break. The sprinters had to fight it out for the minor placings.
This means that Degenkolb just pulled off an incredible result in our home race. A much needed points-haul after the Giro debacle.

Bennett staying in the top 5 is amazing, as are breakaway stage podiums for Albini and, of course, Stan the Man Nice pick-me-up for us, we need all the non-Majka surprises we can get our paws on
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Bad result for Kreuziger here, gamble did not pay off in the slightest.

Came to Luxembourg for Jungels but instead it's Gougeard waving the flag for us!

Nice, thanks for the result
Bananito cashing in this year. I think the decline of Gilbert has finally allowed him to reach his full potential. It is a very welcome win for us. Good race for Degenstache and Barguil, too.

Stan and Buchko with nice individual results, but overall the result in Germany is not great.

Thanks for all the results, so many races Aviva isn't participating in. What a gap for Nibali in Guatemala, followed by tiny gaps for the next places. Fairly boring (or realistic) Deutschland Tour, Betancur cements his position at the top of the table. GP Luxembourg is a weird sight, 2 race days for 5 km. Well done Tony Martin, and Alitalia with three riders in the top 10.

Not sure what to think about Deutschland Tour, 4th is great but if Van Poppel would have done some better sprinting that victory was ours. Grats Liberty Seguros though, ICL Betancur developed so differently from his RL counterpart.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Thanks for the results, Abishek and Shonak. Nice win from Ghyselinck from the break. Lutsenko and Ratto both did well to always finish in the favourites group but unfirtunately are ranked as the last two of them. I think for next season a more selective stage has to be added at the Deutschland Tour.
I'm also happy with the Luxembourg result as it lets us make up some points in the Team World Cup on CarbonSports. I haven't given up on that one yet.
Last two stages of Mt. Fuji posted: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1282960
Including a video for the mountain stage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_E-_..._E-_x-pIKM
Spoiler Very dominant from Froome, who gains back the time lost on the flat stage. Konrad GC wise again disappointing, but makes up for it with the 2nd on stage 5. There again he lost closely to Fernandez. I have a feeling that matchup happens quite often and Konrad is always the one being beaten.
Sevilla with another 4th GC, they did score decent in this triple header. Bardet again the weakest 82 MO rider, don't know why he always gets beaten. |

Phew, great recovery by Froome to take a necessary GC win. Still stupid of him to get dropped on a flat stage

You should have given up though
Gretsch with a horrible performance and also Mathis under expectations.
This race always reminds me that we need to change the prologue development option to give talents the option to specifically target those races/stages

We'll see about Deutschland Tour.
@jaxika: Nothing happened to him, I guess he just had a bad day on the deciding stage
@knockout: I'm counting on the hilly races that are still left. Having Sagan is not enough to score points in the team rankings.
Good point on the prologue training, I was anyways planning to change some stuff about the development options. |

Hela Hola Marco Canola
Great win in the last stage for him. Battaglin could have done better IMO.
Good results by Aru in Japan, unfortunately not a win
