League table updated. Congrats to Nathan who takes the lead. A few bonus points handed out as well.
Guess I'll see you all in a few weeks at the Paris-Nice/Tirreno-Adriatico.
Cheers

Congrats to first and second to Nathan and Omloop. Well done! I guess I shouldn't complain too much since I started the season with a podium spot and healthy buffer down to the infamous IanRussell.
With that said, being a little bit more critical about my own performance. I can't help but be left slightly dissapointed. It felt like I managed to structure the team right, I lead the league for a lot of the race and I was Top10 globally after stage 2. Of course, almost all of my GC-riders failing miserably didn't help. A bit of a shame.
However, I guess a lot of people chose similar riders to me, otherwise I would have taken a bigger tumble at the end.
I'll be back, and I'll want more than this!

It seems that we might finally be getting an all-year standings. Plus bonus races like Pais Vasco, Catalonya and Autumn(!) Classics . Can't wait for it.

Thanks Nathan
The full details about the Velogames Season Long Competition are a little hazy. Perhaps there will be more information after the Paris-Nice has finished and the first leader board will be up and running.
I'm happy to keep the PCMDaily league going if everyone else is still interested? Maybe we can review it at the end of the season to see f it's still worth running our own competition if there is a season long competition on the Velogames site.
Cheers

Yeah, I think it would be a good idea to still have our "own" rankings
Given this will be the first year they will try this it might not work out that well.
Also, I guess their scoring will be quite different from the one you have so perhaps it's better to stick with yours this season and see what happens next year.

Keep ours going mate.
You have done a great work, and I don't think Velogames can better that.
Cheers

So apparently you only need to create a league once and it runs for entire season! |

Looking forward for another season here I'm of course joining. For Paris-Nice I must say it felt kind of too easy to pick a team, with the general costs of great riders being rather low. Suspect that will show in a lot of teams, being stacked with quality.
Happy to see that you want to continue the league as well, ringo. With different scoring systems, I see it only as a good thing to have your version of it running as well |

Entries open for Tirreno-Adriatico, just enter a team and you'll automatically be put on our league. |

Hoped for a better start at Paris - Nice with Magnus Cort crashing in the finale. This suited him perfectly and it was the reason I chose him over Bauhaus. Hopefully he'll score enough on the flat stages. |

What's happened to Ian Russell?
In terms of the leagues, I guess we will run the Velogames league on the velogames site and then separate leagues for the races not included in the Velogames league. I assume it will give scores for each individual race.
I will continue to use my own scoring system for our PCMDaily League for each individual race. I guess there will also be a Velogames.com league champion at the end of the season.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Enjoy the game here, the way it's run and the innovative scoring system so glad it will be continuing, thanks again Ringo. Rather busy with work atm so totally missed all this until signing up for T-A

Now it begins in earnest when the Champ (Mr. Ian Russell) is back.
I must be doing better than in TDU to defend my win last year n T-A.
That will be very very hard indeed.
Best of luck to you all, mates

I was there for the TDU and indeed P-N and T-A, you just have to look a very long way down the leaderboard...

Just a quick heads up to say that I'm starting a new job tomorrow. I'll be arranging for my spreadsheet recording the scores to date to be forwarded to me but it might take a few days to sort out. I'll most likely update the tables for Paris Nice and T-A at the same time later in the week. Cheers.
