Surprise podium from Henao, he's really showing what he can do this year. Van Poppel 4th is again slightly below the expectation, but we're really scoring points in this part of the season!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Seriously, if this continues, we'll relegate!
@Shonak: Kept him out of some of them to focus on the sprint classics. He's our lead sprinter too so not much options. He'll be there at E3 and other wt cobbles.

Idiotic racing. Vanendert does great in Strade, only to throw it away for no reason. Very lucky win for Barguil, Aru and Kwiatek threw it away by slowing up. Still a good result, but a podium was very much possible.
And then Roma Maxima. Our designated leader Alaphilippe does part of the chasing, and 5 kilometers before the finish he drops back for no reason to get out of contention for the sprint. Wow.
Tirreno Adriatico kind of okay, but a very mediocre start so far. Not even in terms of racing (besides Polanc), but we just can't get it done on the final 5 kilometers.

Oh no, my two mentors are doing badly - what does that bode for my team? Kidding, of course, hope you both pick up some better results soon.

Herklotz fulfilling the expectations exactly with 5th place in Spain. Too bad he couldn't make it to the end in the group behind Puccio, who certainly deserved this win with that effort. Still, consistency is key.

Argos isn't doing bad, Croatia just likes whining.
I think this was the strongest startlist we ever had for a hilly classic in ICL and Vanendert gets 6th. Managers with their leaders behind them should be the ones complaining.
Decent season debut for Nibali, after he was blocked several times on the narrow roads, he always found his way back to finish 2nd. I am going for the hills world cup with him so he was also part of Roma Maxima. I don't really understand the tactic of my team there, that was the team with the highest depth here, but apparently tried nothing but keeping the race together for a sprint. Kind of dumb with riders such as Sagan or Van Poppel there.
Lastly Stybar with his first win since a Tour de France stage in the opening season. It's about time he starts delivering. Unlucky for Viviani to have won the sprint behind but still is not on the top step on the podium, but seeing who he left behind, it is a very good result!
Thanks for the results Shonak! |

The opening prologue of Paris - Nice is there! https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1279837
@bikex: I didn't complain about the result in Strade I said that we could've done a lot better if we would as smart as many other teams (like yours) in the final kilometers

Bad start to the month
Omloop was a disaster as Sagan (who had to be one of the absolute top favourites) completely didnt care. Similarly in Strade although it might have been a bit too hard as well. Roma and Tirreno matched the expectations at least.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Excited what the rest of the hill classics has to offer. With the decline of Purito and recently Gilbert and the subsequent rise of Barguil and Kwiatek, there is a whole new dynamic apparent. Of course the best hill rider still has to enter the stage for the big ones, namely Contador.
Also a bit gutted by VDP low performances so far. Pais Vasco, Strade, Roma Maxima. Hardly anything seen by him, I had hoped he could profit off Bananito's quality and be a factor as a second rider. He has shown little however since his stunning Toowoomba.

Great start for Fuglsang in Paris-Nice with his PRL 73.

Disappointing races in Italy for us, hope Martin will be in better shape for the Ardennes...

Yes, I hope so too. He has shown lots of fighting and attacking, usually always up there and actively engaging, but ends up with a very little to show for.

Considering the very tough opposition in Roma Maxima Puccio did pretty well. Seeing how the race played out though, even Ponzi could have delievered a good result with some better postioning.
Paris-Nice is going to be all about breakaways, as we haven't got a real leader there but quite a lot of dangerous guys.

Oh man we are terrible in the WT and now not even performing in the CT...

Vuelta a Tachira started now Unfortunately forgot to activate Bandicam for Stage 1, so only a video now for stage 3 https://youtu.be/... All other stages will have video coverage again. Some very exciting stages coming up.

Well, first classics this year weren't that good for us. Puccio did an amazing attack at Clasica Iberica. Well deserved win. I'm more than happy with 7th place from Komisarek. I wasn't really expecting that, but top 10 is really nice. Nowaczek 5th at Maxima is also good result.
I'm not happy with time losses in France. Ulissi already have 24" to Costa, 15" to Fuglsang and 10" to Herklotz. Chamorro even more... It's going to be hard race for us.
Ah! Tachira! Our first ever WT race! I don't have any expectations at all, but it's nice to see Anacona and Morton bringing second group on stage 3.
Thanks all for the reports! |

That backmarker just cost Rolland a stage victory
Nevertheless, nice to see one he's doing well so far.

great start to Tachira for us...while planning we hoped to grab the lead on stage 1, but with this peloton that was going to be almost impossible - one good stage by Vanendert and one by Quintana, I like that! Also nice to lead the TC at this point.
