Spoiler Bit of unfortunate: My PC crashed in the last kilometers of Omloop, luckily both times the same guy won. Race was imo quite good, however the constant tactical games allowed for some riders to always come back. Sagan with a surprisingly weak day due to positioning I think.
Nice watts/kg-speed fest in Iberica with a bit unexpected winner.

Nice to see Siskevicius making the front group in Omloop, surprisingly bad sprint (gotta love PCM and cobbles sprint positioning) is disappointing

11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Thanks, Shonak, love the videos. Happy for Credit Suisse, Puccio was a major signing for the team even though he was terrible last season. Aviva's men weren't too clever, but at least there's some depth in the team:
12 | Dennis Van Winden | Aviva Cycling Team | s.t. | 13 | Jordi Simón | Aviva Cycling Team | s.t. | 14 | Stefan Denifl | Aviva Cycling Team | s.t. | 15 | Wout Poels | Aviva Cycling Team | s.t. | 16 | Paul Voss | Credit Suisse Pro Cycling | s.t. | 17 | Petr Vakoc | Vittel - Havas Communications | s.t. | 18 | Mark Christian | Aviva Cycling Team | s.t. |
Thankfully, nobody else outsprinted our autobus for those remaining ranking points.

It will get worrying for us if we fail in the cobbles. Hopefully this 12th place by GVA in Omloop is just a one-off.

It was Galta who delivered the best result for the team in this race + yet another breakaway starring Gatis Smukulis. From now on Smukulis will be known as "Mr. Breakaway". #MrBreakaway

Another good result for Henao and Cool Runnings, even Matthews wasn't awful!

What a race by GVK and the team! Everyone was just sitting on his wheel, so he just took them head on to the line and destroyed them there, absolute class!
And I agree the videos are really nice, otherwise the result just looks like a weird big group sprint, while there was so much more to say about this race.

Gao Lei with a strong ride, sadly it couldn't convert into a result but that was nice to see!
Vanmarcke was okay. But why would you ride the full race from the front just to drop back right before the sprint?

Didn't know about that, but that means his points tally can only go upwards from last season.
I guess this was what every manager hopes for, that their leader is the first one to attack towards the end of the race. Puccio obviously still had to bring it home and I'm really happy he managed to do it. Quite an unexpected win but I will take it of course. Aregger also with a good race in 9th.
Once more thanks for the reports Shonak!

Congraz Vali that win was pure intelligence by Puccio very well done! Also to Shonak who keeps this amazing pace!
I can be happy, Kern 6th and 2 other riders in the Top20 is just about what I expected, nice to see our pace not slowing down too much.

A major coincidence, as I go to look at my team history this afternoon, Puccio rode for Filliers in season 1 and managed a 3rd place in Gent - Wevelgem!
Couldn't remember having him in my team, but I also had Cunego in season 1.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Thanks Shonak. Very deserved winner at Omloop, GVK was by far the strongest and most active, there. Nice to see him show his World Cup jersey. In 5 editions this race still hasn't gone to someone other than a Belgian.
My team did okay, but I had a little higher hopes when seeing Roelandts close to the front towards the end.
I'm worried about the AI, though. It's always the same in those cobbled races, if there is more than one in the lead group everyone just sits up, very annoying.

I think he even did quite well for you other than that, I still remember him taking some stage from a break. Puccio was the first successful steal, after introducing steals and left you for new team Saeco. |

Shit you got me there, but now I do remember being negatively surprised by that fact.
Edit:
Nearly forgot it but thanks for all the congrats of course.

Yes I remember now, some Italian team stole him and they offered too much to keep him. I was really wondering why I got rid of him
Was hoping for a bit more in Tirreno, but I can't complain after the Omloop result

Finally something noteworthy of our team, and that's quite something! Great win for Styby after already doing decently in Omloop
A very decent result for Deshaies in Strade is also nice

Italian Spring classics are starting with Clasica Tirreno-Adriatico, Strade Bianche and Roma Maxima.

Spoiler Strade Bianche was a really good race imo, with some surprises. Aru and Barguil definitely are climbers who can take the hills well, Barguil in particular is hot for the World Cup. Kwiatek was also very strong although the results doesn't quite do it justice. More drastically it is for Martin who has lost major places up Sienna. After Pais Vasco, I had hoped Martin could have a bit more luck. Bananito unfortunately below my expectations but he made up for it with his late attack in Rome, winning solo. Who knew that the little fella could pack such a punch in the flat. Sagan also with his first shoutout in the World Cup, after disappointment in Omloop and a way too hard route & pace at Strade.

IMO, GVA was the best rider next to GVK and Vanmarcke. I wouldn't be worried just yet. Omloop is just missing that bit of selectivity. Why no Degenkolb though?

I've made a video but there were constantly buildings etc in the road so I decided not to upload it. Stybar basically broke loose with 5k to go, very strong punch and nice finish, too.
