What a completely invisible day. Top10 yes, but boy was that dull for us...

In the break and doing a good amount of work in the peloton. Had hoped that it meant that Rowe was feeling super, but then a very anonymous sprint. 14th is below our goal for the race, but at least something...
Nice to see a double Aussie win. Congrats to Minions

Mohs at 7th is embarrasing...I know that all the top sprinters had a meh day, but cannot be satisfied with this. Think the many attacks and the wind had lot to say. Congrats Minions!

Well, I did not think I'd be posting one of these for a long time, but here we go:
DRAPAC YOU ARE AMAZING! Great riding in the wind to stay in the front group and then outsprinting clearly better riders, what a great result. Also kudos to Avila for finishing 12th and taking some extra points. This is a result we desperately needed.
Thanks everyone for the congratulations and thanks AbhishekLFC for the report

What the F*** is wrong with Lo Cicero this season. He seems to have completely forgotten how to sprint
If he keeps up like this I guess it's CT next season for us...
Edit: Thanks for the good report though

What a shitty result for us, Top 5 more or less direct opponents. Sad for the big sprinters that this gone so horribly wrong. Drapac continues his Epo Story of last year. Top 2-5 are reasonable, but how Drapac can win a selective flat race is beyond my understandings.

Congrats Minions! Good to see Drapac take a race like that. Don't know what happened to the team that made them decide to start attacking but that was good fun to read. Goss just missing the win hurts, but it was a good team effort. Thanks for the report!

Not quite as good as had hoped for WCC, but JAC in 13th and Vandousselare in the minor points positions keeps the accumulation of points going, even if a little below race ppRD target. Surprised to see Drapac winning here, but Minions deserve a slice of good luck to off-set some of the recent bad!

5th for Holloway is quite good but once again terrible positioning. With better positioning I think even a win would've been possible

Ouch... Kennaugh has been terrible so far this season. One of the worst results overall so far. |

This is terrible, exactly at our home race, Guerao is failed by his legs in the end. I was very hopeful when I saw he made the final cut, but coming second to last in the first finishing group, as on of the strongest sprinters there, is just very weird. Especially when seeing what kind of sprinters did well here.
Thanks for the report Abishkek!
Drapac is a weird winner, but the Minions jersey looks really good on the podium there, congrats Marco! |
